Stony Brook University and Stony Brook Medicine welcome all students, faculty and sta back to our vibrant campus this fall. In our mission to provide a world-class education for our diverse campus community, we accomplished several milestones. Among them: our designation as New York’s fl agship university and being named the No. 1 public university in New York by U.S. News & World Report. We also are a fi nalist in the Governors Island Center for Climate Solutions bid and unveiled a new Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) scholarship program for underrepresented individuals. We look forward to another year of collaborating across campus and with our neighboring communities to continue to make great things happen. We are truly Stronger Together.
