Community Fair Trade Shea Butter Our new Body Butters are made with at least 95% natural-origin ingredients, including our handcrafted Community Fair Trade shea butter from Ghana. Shea butter has been used for generations to help Ghanaian women protect their skin from dry Saharan winds. Its rich texture and high fat content makes it intensely moisturizing.

Tungteiya Women’s Shea Butter Association We’ve been sourcing our shea butter from the Tungteiya Women’s Shea Butter Association in northern Ghana for over 25 years. Our ethical trade helps to provide a fair income and vital financial independence for over 600 women who use traditional techniques to handcraft the shea butter. It was our founder, Dame Anita Roddick, who started this partnership and it’s something we’re really proud of.
