LEADERSHIP MAINLAND

Leadership Mainland recently held its Education Session. The group toured the College of the Mainland’s new S.T.E.A.M. building that includes the nursing education department, along with the Fine Arts building and the new Student Center/ Doyle Family Administration Building. Participants heard from College of the Mainland President Dr. Warren Nichols and Professor Rocky Barney.

The group later toured Odyssey Academy in Texas City and were impressed by the amazing facilities. The session ended with a tour of the Texas City ISD Industrial Trades Center, with tours led personally by students. Everyone was able to see first-hand the successful projects that current high school students are working on in the Industrial Trades Center.
