Anchor Point
The Anchor Point Family Network champions the future of children by educating and empowering parents because no one is beyond hope. Each year the nonprofit has grown and currently consists of several divisions, including the Hope Family Center, Obria Medical Clinic, Hope House Maternity Home and Excellent Minds Academy. Based predominately in League City, Anchor Point serves all surrounding communities.
The Hope Family Center focuses on moms and dads that find themselves in need of support during pregnancy as well as counseling needs for the entire family. Obria Medical Clinic provides well-woman care and STI testing in addition to prenatal care up to the first two trimesters of pregnancy. Excellent Minds Academy is a specialized trauma-informed private school structured to assist children with learning challenges, behavioral issues, sensory issues, high functioning autism and more.
Hope House Maternity Home opened in January and is the newest addition to the Anchor Point Family Network. Since then, it has welcomed three young ladies into the program. They are thriving as they move through the services provided across the Anchor Point Family Network. In 2022, Anchor Point will be ‘Taking the Land’ and is excited to continually grow and reach the needs of the community.
