September 28 & 29, 2011 Camarillo, California The California Gathering is sanctioned by the Learning Community for Person Centered Practices www.learningcommunity.us

Welcome In collaboration with several of our service provider partners and Eastern Los Angeles Regional Center, TriCounties Regional Center is excited to host the fourth annual California Gathering for Person Centered Practices, to share learning and further our efforts in becoming person centered organizations. We believe that by extending the reach of person centered thinking and forging stakeholder partnerships through person centered practices, we can strengthen organizations and empower individuals to have greater influence and more positive control in their own lives. More than ever we need to continue work collaboratively to ensure that the service system, which is quickly changing, will continue to support people in a person centered way. We extend a special thanks to the 2011 California Gathering Planning and Support team for their excellent work over the last year, to Mr. Bill Allen who joins us from northern California representing the Board of Directors of the international Learning Community for Person Centered Practices, and to all those who have volunteered their time and expertise to contribute to the success of this event. The California Gathering is a collective learning experience and your participation and contribution is welcomed and appreciated. We hope you will take the opportunity, today, tomorrow and throughout the year to build new collaborative partnerships and learn new applications of person centered thinking.
