“ I give to the TCTC Foundation because I know that TCTC has a positive impact on the lives of our students and greatly benefits the Anderson, Oconee and Pickens communities. I choose to designate my funds to the Business and Public Services Division because I want to provide additional support to our students so they continue to have positive academic experiences that will enhance their future. This is personal for me. I feel that it is important for others to direct support to their area too. But, mostly it is so fulfilling when you can help a student to accomplish their goals.”
“I have a passion for seeing students perform to their fullest potential. As colleges face increasing challenges with providing programs and facilities needed to give our students an edge, I feel it is more important to give now than ever before. What sets a Technical program apart from others is being able to react quickly to our students’ needs and create partnerships with local employers. This is why I support our Foundation’s efforts. Since my contribution joins with others for immediate use - not restricted by external factors – I feel I am helping to meet student needs directly and in a manner that has true meaning.”

“I appreciate all of the
people who are helping to make it happen. Tri-County is about helping students get to where they need to go.” ~Lindsey Morris Ernest H & Ruby Sharp Hicks Scholarship
Robert Clinedinst is a husband and father of three children who is passionate about a new career in the medical field which he knows will provide a healthier lifestyle for his family. Influenced from growing up in a military family, he joined the United States Army and was deployed three times during his first military contract. He was a state patrol officer before, and after, being called back to serve a second time in a National Guard unit which demanded two additional deployments to combat zones. “I will get my Associates Degree in Nursing and pursue a Bachelor’s degree. This scholarship is so important. Without the help of the Foundation, continuing my education would be so much more difficult for my family. As a nurse I plan to continue to help serve my community in times of need.” ~Robert Clinedinst Anderson Rotary Club Scholarship
How iGive Makes a Difference
Nearly five years ago all employees demonstrated remarkable pride in TCTC by supporting the first major giving campaign. Employee contributions over the last year were again an essential part of helping the Foundation meet an incredible goal of $750,000 in private contributions. We need you again to continue this path of excellence for 2015. Your contributions made it possible for the Foundation to provide student scholarships in excess of $457,000. Faculty and staff mini-grants available from the Professional Development Fund topped $200,000. TCTC is state assisted. Only 15% of our operating budget is provided by the State.
The TCTC Foundation
Each year the Foundation is tasked with raising private funds to support necessities of the College not provided for by state funding. Launched in 1982, the Foundation receives hundreds of gifts annually to meet critical needs of our students and staff.
Faculty/Staff Campaign Frequently Asked Questions and Answers Can I choose how my gift is used? • Giving is a personal choice so you should decide where it is to be used. You may choose to allow the Foundation to direct funds to emerging priorities. General areas of need are scholarships, technology, equipment and professional development. You may also choose to make a gift in honor of someone special.
What are my payment options? • There are many programs of need which means every gift is very important. You may gift by cash, check, or payroll deduction. Gifts can be spread out in payments over months or years. If you would like to talk about a gift of stock or an estate planned gift, call Tammy Fiske at 646-1812. One time gifts can be made by credit card.
Why Payroll Deduction? • Payroll deduction is the most common method to complete a gift over a period of time. Your gift will be deducted monthly without having to remember a schedule. Monthly commitments provide a reliable source of funding.
Is my gift tax deductible? • Yes! The Tri-County Technical College Foundation has 501C3 status. By gifting through the Foundation you receive an acknowledgment letter for tax reporting purposes.
Can I plan a future Gift? • Planned giving refers to options of gifting to Tri-County Technical College through your Will.
Does the Foundation Accept Matched Gifts? • Yes! Many employers provide matching fund programs. Double your gift by checking with your spouses’ human resource department.

“Students are successful when they are able to meet their goals in a timely way, whatever their goals may be…to graduate, to transfer to a four-year college, to gain new skills to move ahead on the job, or even something else as defined by the student. Our role is to take students from where they are to where they need to be – to position and equip them for this journey and to support them at each step.” ~President Ronnie L. Booth
