Serving You Where You Live At the Oconee Campus at the Hamilton Career Center, we are committed to bringing the programs and services of Tri-County Technical College closer to you. We offer options in the University Transfer program and the Practical Nursing program, as well as dual enrollment options for our nearby high school students, to meet the needs of residents from our surrounding area. Student Services Enrollment Services Assistance with admissions information, general financial aid questions, career counseling and related student services is available on the Oconee Campus on Tuesdays, 1-6:30 P.M., during the spring and fall semesters. The Oconee Campus office is also open for general assistance on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, 3:30-6:30 P.M., during the spring and fall semesters. Other hours are available by appointment. Call 864-886-4555. Services are also available Monday-Friday on our Pendleton Campus.

Placement Testing, Orientation, Advising, and Registration These student services are part of “The 8 Steps to Enrollment” for the College and are offered at the Oconee Campus by appointment on scheduled dates. Please call the Oconee Campus office directly at 864-886-4555 for dates and more details.

Resource Center The Resource Center at the Oconee Campus at the Hamilton Career Center provides access to library resources and an open computer lab. Hours are 3:30-6:30 p.m., Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, and 1-6:30 p.m. on Tuesdays. Other hours available by appointment at this campus. Library services and computer labs are available on our Pendleton Campus as well.


Oconee Campus Programs University Transfer Excited about College, but unsure of what you want to major in? Need some time to work on your grades? Circumstances making you feel a college education is out of reach? At our Oconee Campus, we offer various University Transfer courses to help you earn College credit while you deal with real-world challenges that face us all. Get started here, close to home, while you determine what your next steps will be.

Practical Nursing Our Practical Nursing program prepares students for employment as beginning-level staff nurses working under the direction of a registered nurse or physician. Course offerings will provide the skills and knowledge for providing healthcare to patients in a variety of settings, including acute care hospitals, long-term care facilities, physician’s offices and clinics, local public health departments, and home health agencies. Ideal for students who want to obtain this degree in the evenings, the Oconee Campus offers access to this program close to home. Dual Enrollment If you’re a high school student looking to earn college credit while still in high school, consider enrolling in one of our Secondary Transition Enrollment Program (STEP) courses. Conveniently offered before and after traditional high school hours, these classes can help make the transition to college easier. To be accepted at TCTC, proof of an official high school diploma or transcript verifying graduation/GED completion must be submitted. Applicants without a high school/GED credential may be admitted into certificate programs. Applicants under the age of seventeen not seeking dual enrollment courses are required to meet with the Dean of Enrollment Management to determine eligibility for admission. Please check the College catalog for additional program-specific entry requirements.
