No, no, no fools twins. The verb “to be” in Spanish means “ser o estar”
“Ser”??? Yes. To “ser” I can say: I Am the president. To “estar” I can say: I am tired. But you must to know that "am" is a form of verb to be. The present of the verb to be has three forms: “Am, Is, Are”.

There are three basic types of sentences: Affirmative, Negative and Interrogative. Their structure are: Affirmative: (Subject / Noun) + (To Be) + (complement). Negative: (Subject / Noun) + (To Be) + (not) (complement). Interrogative: (To Be) + (subject / Noun) + (complement)?
