Teac he r

Since that time crosswords have become a popular pastime amongst people of all ages. As an educational aid the puzzles have proved to be excellent vocabulary builders which are appreciated by children as a relatively painless way of developing skills.

ew i ev Pr

The Alpha Words puzzles in ALPHABET CROSSWORDS will help extend 9 to 11 year old children’s skills with word definitions, spelling and vocabulary. The 26 alphabetical puzzles in the book each focus on one letter of the alphabet, with the solutions in each puzzle all having the same initial letter (apart from x, y and z). These puzzles are supplemented by some thematic puzzles based on popular concepts, while the clever illustrations on each page add a stimulating dimension to the book.
