This season we’re partnering with Elimu Girls, a Kenyan non-profit empowering young women through education and skills training. They’ve designed a special doll with its very own wrap dress, available in a handful of prints that match back to Tea’s own styles. We kicked off our partnership in 2022, when we met with staff from Elimu Girls and students from the Heri Sewing College in Malindi, Kenya. Over three days, our design team taught a block-printing workshop, met with local fashion designers and textile artists, and developed the pattern for our special Tea x Elimu Girls wrap dress. In 2023 we returned for our Spring collection photo shoot and met with the artisans who fabricated the dolls. Read more about our trip and this incredible collaboration on our blog!
