Journal: Week Six Week six saw ourselves working in the same groups as allocated the previous few week’s to continue working on our case study site. We were given a relatively small time frame in which to complete the model, of materials we bought in. We used pasteboard to construct walls, with thin wooden sticks for beams. The activity required knowledge from the past few weeks of being able to read plans and section and elevation to achieve a correctly scaled model. It also revisited the idea of primary and secondary structures. Constraints were mainly the time in which the model was to be completed. -Beams made from thin wood to show location and structure in the model.
-Measured drawings/plans of the Ormond College Reception, which we were to make a model of. -Shows the relevant wall dimensions.
