Ancestral Architecture evolution inspired wellness
Like all other organisms, the human body is a product of the evolutionary process. Each facet of the body developed as it best suited an environmental need; It is this accumulation of favorable traits that leads to speciation. The advent of the built environment is a relatively new concept in the grand scheme of human evolution. Pre-modern humans did not construct planar environments for shelter, instead they utilized what was available in nature. That said; our physiologies evolved in a natural context where the body was absolutely necessary for terrestrial locomotion. This is no longer the case. The contemporary built environment is a planar enclosure that provides appropriate shelter but does not induce full body movement. In tandem with advancing technology this sedentary lifestyle is responsible for many health ailments we see today. The goal is to create an environment that actuates the human body as it evolved to function, therefore maintaining an overall healthier body composition and lifestyle.
