Rubner Haus spa, founded over 40 years ago by the Rubner family which is still present in the company, manufactures wooden homes and has built more than 12,000 of them all over the world.

Rubner Haus spa is certified to Casa Clima, the standard recognised in Italy and Europe for the energy classification of buildings, and Passivhaus, the German standard for homes with low or zero environmental impact.

Wood

Rubner Haus spa only uses wood from controlled reforestation areas in the Alps (Switzerland, Austria, Italy, etc.). To build an average size house, Rubner uses the same amount of wood that grows every 28 seconds in the Alps.

Just one interlocutor, many projects

Rubner Haus builds different sized houses to customer designs: from single-family to dual-family buildings as well as small condominiums. The companyâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s technical department works with the designer and customer to suggest the best solutions and applications, acting as the sole interlocutor and offering a turnkey service.

Eco-sustainable materials wood

Rubner Haus uses eco-sustainable materials: all the materials, from wood to lagging, are 100% recyclable and eco-compatible. Moreover, just 3 lorries are required to transport the materials of an average 100 mÂ˛ house, instead of the 20 required for a normal masonry house, consequently saving fuel and reducing pollution.

Compared with traditional masonry houses, Rubner wooden homes have a better weight/static resistance ratio, thus guaranteeing enhanced safety in case of earthquakes. Moreover, wood ages more slowly than steel and wooden homes can last for over 300 years without full-scale maintenance.
