BYPASS TRIPLE 07.13.2024 118 MILES | 10,800'
With 4,500 riders on course, it is critical that you communicate with your fellow riders. We know for some of you bombing down the passes is why you make your way to the top, but be cool - the Triple is not a race. Don’t jeopardize your or another’s safety when descending.
Slower riders, stay far right
No passing on the right
Announce your pass
Obey all local speed limits, traffic and trail use laws
Ride single file on bike paths
Be friendly!
Traffic laws will be enforced by local and state authorities. Riders MUST OBEY ALL TRAFFIC LAWS and official personnel, including Triple Bypass Marshal Volunteers Please note that not all police along the route are part of the event. When approaching traffic signals, do not assume you may proceed unless you are given permission by the authority.
Traffic closures are only for a limited time in specific areas. Please ride no more than two abreast, and only if conditions allow. When riding two abreast it is illegal to impede “the normal and reasonable flow of traffic.” Please ride right and never cross the yellow centerline Ignoring these guidelines could result in the loss of your right to ride the Triple Bypass.
Yes we might sound like a broken record, but one of the most important pieces of rider étiquette is announcing your pass As a rider of the Triple and an ambassador for this sport, please show your fellow cyclists and any pedestrians you may meet the utmost courtesy by announcing your presence as you approach and always passing on the left. If you are a slower rider, please stay to the right, and be sure to ride single file while on the bike path
Announce your pass
““THANKSFOR THANKSFOR LLETTINGUS ETTINGUS PPASS!” ASS!”
““ONYOUR ONYOUR LLEFT!” EFT!”
No passing on the right
Race Day packet pickup is also available at the start line but is NOT RECOMMENDED. There may be lines that will delay your start. Get out and ride! Your jersey will not be available at the start line.
