MICHELLE AVILES What drew you to Team Psych? My friend Danny Doxsey told me about the team and it looked like a great group to be a part of. Family Information: I am single. My parents live about 30 min from me and I have an older brother that lives in Illinois If I wasn’t a ___nurse_____ (real occupation), I would do mission work___ (dream job)
Athletic history before triathlon: I played soccer and tennis in high school. Wasn’t at all active in college and gained a lot of weight. About 3 years ago I started doing some 5ks and got into biking a little. I did Duathlons all last year and 2 half marathons. Triathlete for how many seasons: This is my first season!!! Currently my bike is a: 2012 Quintana Roo Kilo My dream bike is a not sure yet….anything that will make me faster!!!!!! Philosophies: Don’t do anything halfway, either do it all or don’t do it at all! Biggest obstacle I overcame in becoming a triathlete: getting comfort-

Biggest obstacle I overcame in becoming a triathlete: Time Management, Divorce, limited finances 2013, Demanding Military/Govt Occupation (175 Days travel). Fitting in a social life and dating. Team Psych was the answer I was looking for. What is your greatest triathlon moment or story? Watching my children develop in YTS, watching YTS Tampa/St Pete go National. Finishing 8 Mile Tampa Bay swim in 2010. Watching some of our YMCA and Scout Kids, after only 2-3 Years becoming leaders in the Region, Shane Deeley, John Jarrard Farrese, Victor, Rich and Sean Lush.
