At Tearfund, our faith is visible. It acts, it speaks, and it stands alongside those in need. Together with our partners on the ground and our supporters at home, we act and advocate against injustice and poverty overseas. Motivated by our faith, we go where the need is greatest and call on New Zealanders to respond. We work to create real change, not only for our partners and their communities but in our lives and those of our supporters. OUR MISSION STATEMENT: "The purpose of Tearfund is to glorify God by extending his kingdom in ministry to the poor, oppressed and disadvantaged, and to encourage God's people in New Zealand to live out the values and principles of his kingdom, by sharing with those in need."
