Everyone has heard unlimited praises for the iPad, the newest tablet computer that Apple has created. However, some have wondered whether or not it is really worth all that money. Sure, it sound cool to own the newest tablet computer but some have complained of some down sides. So, here, I’ll do a comparison between these two and see whether or not it is worth it. iPad •Touch screen is responsive and very effective. Might be annoying if you press the wrong button. •Design is simple, just a glossy black screen and a white back •Has roughly 150 000 iPhone Apps that can be used on it •Work-wise, the iWork add-on is not too bad •It can’t multi-task •Uses HTML5 instead of Flash. Problem here is that the use of HTML5 isn’t that wide… •Has 10h battery life •Have new iBook app that allows one to read books online
Laptop •Touch screens can sometimes be annoying when you have to press multiple times to hit the button. •Design depends on what you buy •Apps depend on what you downlaod or install •iWork does not compare to Microsoft Office tools •We multi-task on this all the time •Uses Flash like 99% of the web is using •Battery life is about 2h… •No such app available… We can read things off the web but it doesn’t compare…
There’s actually loads more to add. However when I look at it, iPad may be revolutionary but due to the lack of multi-tasking ability and the all important Flash being missing, I’d rather pick using a laptop. However, for those who don’t mind the disadvantages, the iPad has unlimited potential to become better as many companies are modifying their apps to suit the iPad needs.
Let’s take a test and see how ‘In’ you are! What’s the new, hot and upcoming Japanese movie? Ready to see the answer?

There are an increasing array of them on the market so you have a real choice ahead of you. In order to get the best buy, consider the 1. Price – a good place to start when thinking about buying a DSLR is obviously price. DSLRs price range in price from some quite affordable deals at the lower end to extremely high prices at the professional end. Set yourself a budget for your purchase early. 2. What will You use it For? – when you head into a camera store to purchase any type of question the first thing most sales people will ask you what type of photography you want to do. It is well worth asking yourself this question up front as it will help you think through the type of features and accessories you’ll need. 3. Size – DSLRs are all more sizeable than compact point and shoot cameras but there is a fair bit of variation in size between them also. Some photographers don’t mind carrying around weighty gear but if you’re going to use it for on the go photography (travel, bushwalking etc) then small and light models can be very handy. 5. Resolution – ‘how many megapixels does it have’ is a question that is often one of the first to be asked about a new camera. While I think ‘megapixels’ are sometimes over emphasised (more is not always best) it is a question to consider as DSLRs come with a wide range of megapixel ratings. Megapixels come into play as you consider how you’ll use your images. If you’re looking to print enlargements then more can be good – if you’re just going to print in small sizes or use them for e-mailing friends then it’s not so crucial.
Here are some other things to consider : Lenses (some deals offer ‘kit lenses’ but you should consider upgrading – see below for more on this) Batteries (all models will come with one but if you are traveling you might need a spare) Memory Cards (some models come with one but most are inadequate in terms of size. Even if you’re lucky enough to have one included you’ll probably want to upgrade to at least a 1 gigabyte card). Camera Bag (some dealers will throw one in – but once again don’t expect a high quality ‘free’ bag. Your DSLR is something worth protecting – invest in a good bag) Filters (at the least you’ll want to get a UV filter for each lens you purchase – but you might also want to consider other types down the track also). Extended Warrantees (there’s a variety of opinions on whether they’re good or not – but they’re worth considering)
Leaked Macbook Refresh Gets Official “My Macbook Pro Beats All!” “No! My new Macbook has the same specs as your Macbook Pro!” “What? You mean I wasted $300+ on a Macbook Pro!” Yes,it’s 2.4GHz Core 2 Duo, with NVIDIA GeForce 320M graphics and longer 10-hour battery life (up from 7 hours), same as the Macbook Pro! It is now available in Apple's Flagship store in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Germany, and a few other sites. Now, it is still $1,600, making it a better dealfor the moment than the similarly spec'd 13inch MacBook Pro listing for $1,900.

VS. Singtel and Starhub has always been enemies, Well none of us consider M1 has much of a threat. Basically they provide a variety of services from telecom services and cable services even internet. But which telecom was succeed in getting the most customers and become Singapore leading telecommunications company?
Singtel is better in terms of its calling and phone service but I think it’s Mio service (like internet) is not so excellent. When Mio first started out and we used the service it was quite bad we had to change the Mio machine twice but kudos to it for improving so much ever since that time. Lets hope Singtel can continue to improve.
Starhub has a excellent cable service and I have nothing but raves for it’s internet connection. But Singtel has more popularity better because it has been here longer and has gained a fan base of loyal customers. So Starhub has a long way more to gain more customers
