How To Disable Or Enable WiFi Adapter In Windows 10 Network/WiFi Adapter on your Windows OS is the main part for connecting your System to Local network and Internet. Sometimes, if you don’t want to connect your system on Network, you can disable the Network Adaptor. So, how to disable or enable Network Adapter or WiFi Adapter on Windows 10? #1. How to Enable WiFi Adapter from Control Panel Step 1: First, open Control Panel on your Windows OS from the Start menu or open Windows “Settings”

Step 2: Then click on the Network & Security option. (For shortcut – Rightclick the network icon on the taskbar, where you’ll directly found the Network & Security option.) Step 3: Next tap on Network and Sharing Center. Step 4: Afterward, choose the Change Adapter Settings from the given options.

Step 5: You will be taken to a new panel. There right click on the Network Adaptor option where you will find an enable option from the drop-down list. Check the image:

Step 6: Click on Enable. Your network connection is activated now.

#2. How To Disable Wifi Adapter From Control Panel Step 1: To WiFi adapter disable Windows 10, once again go to Settings or open control panel. Step 2: Tap on Network & Security option. Step 3: Then click Status option from there. Step 4: Click on the Change Adapter Settings option. Step 5: Once again right-click the Network Adaptor from the new page and tap on Disable option from the drop-down list. This time your network is disabled.

#3. How To Enable Or Disable Wifi In Windows 10 Step 1: The process is quite easy. Firstly, you locate the network icon. It is at the bottom right corner of the taskbar in your desktop or laptop. Step 2: Tap on the Wi-Fi icon as shown in the image below. The icon will turn white when it is turned on. As shown in the image below:

Step 3: It will show many available Wi-Fi connections to choose from. Choose the one with which you want to connect. Step 4: If the Available Wi-Fi connection is open source you will connect to it directly. And if it is password secured than you will have to enter the password for that network. After you have entered the password and click Connect, the Wi-fi will be activated for your system. Additional Tip: Check the “Connect Automatically” box below that network name as then you won’t have to re-enter the password every time you try to connect with it. Step 5: To Turn off the Wi-Fi simply tap on the same network icon on the taskbar, it will become grey which means you have disabled the Wi-Fi connection.
