Defil has been operating since 1985 in Sesto San Giovanni, on the outskirts of Milan, in the sector of air filtration and dedusting of industrial and civil plants. The experience and expertise acquired in all these years allow Defil to provide its costumers with a valuable know-how regarding filtration in product process, environmental protection in the workplace and reduction of air pollution by providing filters that comply with every needs.

Defil is known in various sectors, such as food, cosmetic, chemical/pharmaceutical, industry and automotive, distributing its products in national territory as well as in Europe and Extra-CEE Countries. Customer satisfaction has always been the company’s focal point, and that’s why research and study of new products and new solutions are constant as to be able to solve any particular need that may require.

The use of filters is generally extremely important as it guarantees end–users a higher degree of hygiene and better economic results, deriving from the good preservation of both premises and machinery. The latter will not be seen in the near future but, on the other hand, lowering contamination degree caused by very fine particles can be seen immediately, therefore their filtration requires the use of high and very high efficiency filters.

Defil produces and markets various type of filters, such as:

• Filter cells, panels and pockets filters

• High-efficiency and absolute filters

• Automatic rotary filters and related refill of each brand

• Filters for clean rooms, sterile and chemical hoods

• Activated carbon filters

• Filter for compressors, gas turbines and for cogenerations plants

• Self-cleaning pocket dust collectors, filter housing and complete filter units

• Containers with perfect seal type “Canister”

• Inertial filters

• Manometers – pressure switches.

Two essential products of Defil core business, thanks to the quality of raw materials (all from European primary manufacturers) and the care of the finest details for their construction, are the costruzione, sono le cartucce (Fig. 1) e le maniche filtranti (Fig. 2) che possono essere utilizzate in varie tipologie di impianti quali:

• Impianti di trasporto / produzione di polveri alimentari

• Impianti di produzione / lavorazione di polveri chimiche o farmaceutiche

• Impianti di verniciatura a polvere o di sabbiatura, tagli laser, plasma e saldatura cartridges (Pic. 1) and bags filters (Pic. 2) that can be used in various types of plants, such as:

• Impianti di trasporto polveri in genere.

Per la costruzione delle cartucce filtranti si possono usare varie tipologie di setti filtranti come carta, poliestere, poliestere alluminizzato antistatico con e senza rivestimento PTFE, nanofibra, tele metalliche e speciali setti accoppiati.

Le maniche filtranti, invece, sono costruite in vari setti filtranti come il polipropilene, poliestere, poliestere antistatico con fili inox, aramidico, PTFE, cotone, ecc.

Defil dispone di setti certificati IFA, Dekra-Exam, FDA.

• Transport plants / food powder production

• Producing plants / chemical – pharmaceutical powder processing

• Painting powder or sandblasting plants, laser cutting, plasma and welding

• Powder transport plants.

For the filter cartridge construction various types of filter media can be used, such as paper, polyester, antistatic aluminized polyester with or without PTFE coating, nanofiber, metal mesh and special coupled sects.

The bags filters, instead, are built in various filter media, such as polypropylene, polyester, antistatic polyester with inox wires, aramide, PTFE, cotton etc.

Defil has certified filter media IFA, Dekra-Exam, and FDA.
