Open-Heart Patients in the Family.
STRENGTH IN NUMBERS: High blood pressure and her family’s medical history raised the risk of heart disease for Horton resident Terry Crawford. When tests showed she needed heart surgery, she was really scared. But, after her quadruple bypass at Henry Ford Allegiance Health, Terry is happily back to an active life of gardening, swimming, kayaking and enjoying time with her family. See Terry’s full story and video at HenryFordAllegiance.com/Strength. To find a cardiologist near you, call (888) 862-3627.

Nestled between the lakes of Columbia and Clark, lies Clark Lake Golf Course and Domenick’s Restaurant. Family owned since 1969, this course offers the public 27 holes to golf. Our course has something for everyone, we offer white, senior and ladies tees. From the well-maintained greens to the beautiful timbers that line the inside walls of our restaurant there is so much to experience. With the capacity to accommodate up to 200 guests, our remarkable wedding venue has much to offer. Whether you envision a ceremony outside or inside, you will find an abundance of photo-worthy locations.
Now celebrating our 40th year. This 18-hole public course is a hidden treasure. The exquisite River Raisin peacefully winds through naturally wooded terrain to offer challenging beauty at every turn. The reasonable length boasts tight fairways and rippling greens to test your mastery of the game. The rugged landscape creates natural obstacles in a varying terrain, unlike most courses in the area. This course features 2 sets of trees for different skill levels. Alongside the tranquil, rolling golf course lies our banquet hall, an excellent spot for golf outings and events. The ambiance is warm and friendly, creating the perfect location for your special occasion. Check for anniversary specials - we’ll be offering them all season long!
The Legacy Golf Club is an upscale public golf course with the conditions and atmosphere of a country club. Opened in 1997 on 207 semi-rolling acres, this Arthur Hills designed masterpiece is located in southeastern Lower Michigan’s Monroe County, just minutes from Toledo, Ohio. The bent grass fairways and greens are immaculately maintained and five sets of tees provide the golfer with a choice for the degree of challenge to be faced. A complete driving range with grass tee hitting area, large practice putting green, and a chipping green with practice sand bunkers enable golfers to properly prepare for their fun filled round.

1555 Strasburg Rd. | Monroe | 734-242-5566 www.greenmeadowsgolf.com Green Meadows is a family owned and operated 18hole public golf course that opened in May of 1973. In addition to public play, Green Meadows offers memberships, league play, outings for fundraisers or special events, and a banquet room for small parties throughout the year. We have a friendly and courteous staff from start to finish. The course is very well manicured and the layout is challenging but fair with two creeks strategically running through both the front and back nines. Green Meadows offers a variety of shots that will have you reaching for every club in your bag. Call for tee times.

Now celebrating our 50th year, our 18-hole par 72 course appeals to both beginners and competitive players. The 18-hole public course is located on the edge of the Irish Hills area and just minutes from Ann Arbor, Ypsilanti or Adrian. The 5,000 square foot clubhouse facility is home to a full service pro shop and ACE’s Pub & Grill. We also have a 350 yd natural grass driving range and chipping and putting greens. The relaxed atmosphere of the course is complemented by the great scenery. We are family owned and have been in the golf business for 3 generations. Positive energy and customer satisfaction is our primary goal.
The 18-hole Wolf Creek Golf Club is a public golf course that opened in 1991. Designed by John Francoeur, Wolf Creek Golf Club features 4 sets of tees for different skill levels. Superb greens and fairways are bent grass. The course offers a good mix of open and tight holes. Practice your swing at our driving range. Our beautiful Clubhouse features a wraparound deck/ porch overlooking the 9th hole. Manchester Community of Schools Great education made personal.
Manchester Community School welcomes your child. Being “new” is a unique experience for any age, which is why each of our schools has a specific transition plan.
2017-2018 School Year
734-428-9711
MANCHESTERSCHOOLS.US
You’re trying to find the right school for your child. But you’re also thinking of their future. We are too. Great education is personal, which is why Manchester Community Schools have implemented new programs and objectives to help your child meet the demands of a conceptual age - and we continue to develop more programs to ensure their academic success. To create a positive, personalized education in elementary, middle and high school, we look closely at your whole child - at his or her behavior and unique personality - not just test scores.
Being brand new doesn’t need to feel that way
ENROLL! Emotionally,
Physically and Socially Supportive When a child feels safe, he or she can learn more readily.
Bullying Prevention
All of our schools draw on the world’s foremost expert the Olweus Bullying Prevention Program (OBPP). Backed by 35 years of research and successful, worldwide implementation, OBPP works because it is a long-term, system-wide program for change involving components at four levels: the individual, school, community, and classroom.
Support for all Children
For children who struggle, our schools offer:
• Individual meetings for elementary students with our Social Work Technician • Weekly meetings with a school counselor for middle and high school students • STEM concepts robotics club for high school students as an alternative to participating in after school sports.

When living by the water becomes more of a need than a want, it’s time to make a move. We get that - in fact, we’ve just moved. Our newest location in Manitou will enable us to scout out properties for those - like ourselves - who know if you’re lucky enough to have a house by the water - you’re lucky enough.
