Theodore Scott
Theodore Scott has always engaged in both fine art and applied arts activities simultaneously. Early in his adventures he was so drawn to all things Japanese that he left his native U.S. and took his Master's degree in the history of Japanese architecture from Tokyo's Waseda University, becoming fluent in spoken Japanese. Upon completion of his studies, he spent several years photographing everyday life and culture in contemporary Japan. From there he moved to Vancouver, Canada and continued to study and lecture extensively on Japanese gardens and architecture while pursuing new more abstract directions in photography.
