MynameisTeffanyComeaux-Ibarra,andIamthedirectorofTeffany'sDanceStudio.Istartedthestudioon asimpleprinciplethatwehavestayedtruetooverthepast15years:tokeepdanceeducationatitsmost enjoyablewhilehelpingdancersimproveeachyear.Westrivenotonlytocreateamazingdancersbutto helpthembecomestrong,independent,andwell-roundedyoungadults.
Withover35yearsofexperienceindanceeducation,I’vehadthepleasureofhelpingmanydanceteachers andstudioownersacrosstheUS,AustraliaandCanadathroughanorganizationfordanceteachers.Our teachersarequalified,certified,andourprovencurriculumhasinspiredconfidenceinthousandsof students,helpingthemsucceedinlocalsports,dance,andcollegeprograms.
However,wearemorethanjustadanceschool!Atourstudio,yourinvestmentinyourchildwillshowoutside ofthestudio Dancemeetsimperativeneedsforsocialandemotionalskills,mentalwell-being,physical health,andprovidesqualityfriendshipsandrolemodels.Andthatisthegreatestinvestmentaparentcould makeintheirchild.Idon’tonlysharethatasadanceteacherbutalsoasamomoftwo.

How to Access the Parent Portal:
Visit Our Website: Go to www teffanysdancestudio com 1
Click on the Parent Portal Link: You’ll find the link to the Parent Portal on the homepage of our website 2
Log In: Enter your email and password to log in. 3.
Features Available on the Parent Portal:
View and Update Account Information: Keep your contact details, payment methods, and dancer's information up-to-date.
Class Schedule: View your dancer’s class schedule, including times and locations
Add Classes: Easily add new classes
Make Payments: Pay your tuition and any other fees directly through the portal You can also view your payment history
Communication Guidelines
Band App: Make sure you have joined the appropriate class on the Band App for important updates. Facebook: "Like" and follow our Facebook page at www.Facebook.com/dancetds for studio news and updates.
In-Person Questions: Please avoid asking questions between classes as we may forget. We will have someone at the desk this year to assist with questions They will either answer your query or write it down so we can address it after class or the next day
Preferred Communication: The preferred method of communication with the director is by email at admin@teffanysdancestudio.com. Ms. Teffany is available to meet and answer concerns, but not between classes.
Concerns: All concerns should be brought to the attention of our staff. We cannot address issues if we are unaware of them.

Tuition Policies
Tuition Payment Schedule:
Tuition is due on the 1st of each month and covers that month’s classes. Payments can be made through the Parent Portal, by check, or in person at the studio.
Late Fees:
A $15 late fee will be applied to accounts that are not paid by the 8th of the month. If you are experiencing financial difficulties, please contact Ms. Teffany to discuss possible payment arrangements.
Payment Plans:
We understand that some families may need assistance with tuition payments. If needed, payment plans can be arranged. Please contact Ms. Teffany to set up a plan that works for your family.
Discounts:
We have redone our tuition to Include a hefty discount on siblings tuition, all tuition already Includes a discount. Active Duty Military will recive a 25% off discount.
Non-Payment:
If tuition is not paid for two consecutive months and no payment arrangements have been made, your dancer may be dropped from the class. We will make every effort to contact you before this happens.
Adding Classes:
Classes can be added any time through the Parent Portal.
Withdrawal Policy:
If you choose to withdraw your dancer from classes, please provide written notice via email or fill out a drop form at the desk. Your account will be charged until we receive this notice, we need a minimum of 15 days notice to drop or auto tuition will be ran the following month.
Refund Policy:
Tuition is non-refundable. Credits for future classes may be issued in certain circumstances, such as extended illness or injury, at the discretion of the director.
Annual Registration Fee:
An annual registration fee is due at the time of enrollment and is non-refundable. This fee covers administrative costs and secures your dancer’s spot in the class.

Family Dance Tuition
Our dance tuition is based on the total time a family spends at the studio, regardless of the number of dancers If a family enrolls in autopay, they receive a $5 00* discount per month
Family Tumbling Tuition
Family Tumbling tuition applies to famlies who are only taking tumbling classes You take the total number of classes the family takes to find the correct tuition Family tuition is alread significantly discounted - so no other discounts apply

Two Dancers
Each take 1 Hour Dance & 1 Tumbling Class

Holidays and Closures
Holiday Closures
Teffany's Dance Studio will be closed on the following holidays during the 20242025 dance year. No classes will be held on these dates, and tuition will not be prorated for these closures as they are factored into the overall yearly schedule.

Additional Notes:
Inclement Weather: In the event of inclement weather, we will follow the local school district's closures. If schools are closed due to weather, Teffany's Dance Studio will also be closed. Notifications will be sent out via the Parent Portal and email, Band App, Facebook. 2 Inclement weather days have been added Into the dance year, If we have more than 2 days missed, we will add In make up days.
Additional Closures: Any additional closures for studio events or special circumstances will be communicated well in advance through the Parent Portal and email.

AttendanceDrop Off/Pick Up
Drop-Off and Pick-Up Procedures
Drop-Off Guidelines - Dancers enter from the back of Building (Unless Noted)
Dancers should arrive no more than 10 minutes before their scheduled class time unless otherwise arranged This ensures that the studio is not overcrowded and that instructors can focus on their current class.
Pre-K dancers must be accompanied to the studio door by a parent or guardian. Please ensure they use the restroom before class begins.
Pick-Up Guidelines - Dancers will be released out of front door (Unless Noted)
Please be prompt in picking up your dancer at the end of their class. Instructors may have back-to-back classes and cannot supervise dancers after class ends.
If someone other than a parent or guardian will be picking up your dancer, please inform us ahead of time through the Parent Portal or email We will only release dancers to authorized individuals.
Safety and Supervision:
For the safety of all students, siblings and younger children must be supervised at all times while in the studio They should not be allowed to run around or play loudly, as this can disrupt classes. Siblings should stay away from mirrors and not be on mats.
Our parking lot can be very busy, especially during peak hours. Please do not let younger children wander outside unsupervised.
Early Drop-Off:
If you need to drop off your dancer more than 10 minutes before class, please arrange this in advance with the studio. We do not have staff available to supervise early arrivals, and this ensures your dancer’s safety.
Late Pick-Up:
If you are running late, please notify the studio as soon as possible. Repeated late pick-ups may result in additional fees or other arrangements being made for your dancer's supervision.
Co-Parenting
At Teffany's Dance Studio, we are committed to creating a safe, supportive, and positive environment for all of our dancers, including those from co-parenting families We understand that co-parenting can present unique challenges, and we are here to support both parents in ensuring their child’s dance experience is as smooth and enjoyable as possible.
Co-Parenting Considerations:
Communication: Please notify us if you are co-parenting so that we can ensure both parents receive important communications, such as newsletters, updates, and event information. This helps ensure that both parents are equally informed about their child's dance schedule and studio activities.
Duplicate Documents: Upon request, we can provide duplicate copies of important paperwork, such as tuition statements, schedules, and costume information, so that both parents have access to the necessary information.
Avoiding Awkward Situations: We are committed to maintaining a neutral and supportive environment for your child We will never place a child in an awkward or uncomfortable situation due to co-parenting dynamics. Our priority is always the well-being of the dancer.
Respecting Boundaries: While we strive to communicate effectively with both parents, we also respect privacy and boundaries. If you have specific communication preferences or boundaries that you would like us to be aware of, please let us know so that we can accommodate them
Safe Space: Dance is a safe space for your child, and we understand how important that is, especially during challenging family times. Teffany's Dance Studio aims to be a second home where your child feels secure, supported, and free to express themselves through dance
Contact Information: Please ensure that both parents' contact information is up-to-date in our system. This includes email addresses, phone numbers, and mailing addresses, so that we can reach both parents as needed.
