Alleged government orchestrated killings and kidnapping EXCLUSIVE
THE killing of a wedding party in a series of alleged government orchestrated killings marks the latest atrocity to hit Gibuda. The family were a mix of Western and Arabic ethnicity and had been driving to a three day wedding event. The father, Ibrahim Al Kabbi, said: “My world is destroyed my entire family is wiped out, where will I go from here? “I have already been apprehended by the po-
lice and even accused of carrying out the killing.” The distraught father went on to say: “It’s pot luck what police you get, some are corrupt, some are straight and true and some answer to certain members of the government.” The kidnappings have been taking place for months and have been alleged to take place after people have criticised the regime and its policies. Villagers have stopped trusting each other and no one is sure who is informing on whom. This paper has been forced to move across
the border into caylands after repeated raids by government forces and our own editor is currently held by government forces and her whereabouts are unknown. The president Miss Aisha al dacari stated: “We are appalled to see such an atrocity in this land. “Our security forces will do everything in their power to find the perpetrators and bring them to appropriate justice.” When questioned further on whether government forces were to blame, she declined to comment.
IED found on main country road US and UK flags burnt in square FURTHER delays were experienced by commuters on the main county road this week when an IED was detonated in a controlled explosion by UN personnel. There is no known motive for the
IED, however UN Official Shamilla Al Jawad, stated: “There was clear intent to cause disruption and fear amongst the commercial community and damage infrastructure and trade.” Roads are now running normally.
FLAGS were burnt of several western nations this week, including the UK and US. A large crowd were jeering and cheering as the flags were burnt. On arrival of security forces the
crowd dispersed and normality quickly resumed. There were no charges made by police. n See pages 7 and 8 for more details.
