About Honda


- Background of Honda Honda Motor Co., Ltd. Honda Giken Kōgyō is a Japanese public multinational primarily known as a manufacturer of automobiles, motorcycles and power equipment. Honda has been the world’s largest motorcycle manufacturer since 1959 as well as the world’s largest manufacturer of internal combustion engines measured by volume, producing more than 14 million internal combustion engines each year. Honda became the second-largest Japanese automobile manufacturer in 2001 Honda was the eighth largest automobile manufacturer in the world behind General Motors, Volkswagen Group, Toyota, Hyundai Motor Group, Ford, Nissan, and PSA in 2011. Apart from Motorcycles and automobile it’s also leader manufacturer of Electric and alternative fuel vehicles Power Equipment, Engines, Robots, Aircrafts, Solar cells, Mountain Bikes, ATV’s.

- Honda Motorcycles Soichiro Honda Honda Sōichirō?, November 17, 1906 – August 5, 1991) was a Japanese engineer and industrialist. In 1948, he established Honda and oversaw its expansion from a wooden shack manufacturing bicycle motors to a multinational automobile and motorcycle manufacturer. Honda is the largest motorcycle manufacturer in Japan and has been since it started production in 1955. At its peak in 1982, Honda manufactured almost three million motorcycles annually. By 2006 this figure had reduced to around 550,000 but was still higher than its three domestic competitors

These technologies are tested in the extreme conditions of motorcycle racing, to adapt them for use in vehicles that ply on roads today.

-Scooter

A scooter is a motorcycle with step-through frame and a platform for the operator’s feet. Elements of scooter design have been present in some of the earliest motorcycles, and motorcycles identifiable as scooters have been made from 1914 or earlier. Scooter development continued in Europe and the United States between the World Wars. A motor scooter is a motorcycle similar to a kick scooter with a seat, a floorboard, and small or low wheels.

Honda Dio


-Honda Dio The Honda Dio was introduced in Japan in January 1988. It is now manufactured and assembled in India by Honda’s HMSI subsidiary, from where it is exported to UK as the Honda Lead. The Dio is equipped with cushioned seats and also a spacious under the seat storage box. The Japanese Dio was equipped with the two-stroke 50 cc AF18E single-cylinder engine with electric start. It is superficially similar to the USA-only Honda “Elite S” Honda Dio is very popular in indian youth for its aggressive sporty styling.

Upcoming generation also started using i-pads, online classes. Individuals life is connected and synced with gadgets like music player, laptop , Smart phone and other related gadgets.

New generation keep interest in automotive activities a lot because of easy knowledge from the medium of television, news and Internet. Even now because of licenced games youth get to know about original vehicles and there specification.
