The Video Registry is a scalable database driven solution that maps video user end-point data to network addressable identifiers across a Video Service Providers (MSP) network. Querying the Registry returns optimal routing information, ensuring calls can go directly between video end-points, avoiding unnecessary and costly interworking network elements such as MCU’s. The service enables MSP’s to more efficiently manage inbound and outbound video communications by creating a gateway access point for signaling and address management.
