As, Henri Lefebvre, In The production of space (Leberbve, (1974)lays out a socio-spatial theory that claims a dialectical connection between space and social relations. Lefebvre’s conceptualization was recognition of space as produced rather than given indicating that social relations are both producing space and shaped by it. Peterbos, a modernist social housing estate of 3200 inhabitants, had a contested history. Built for the working class Belgian People, it had glorious days, crisis and recently stigma and prejudice. This urban analysis explores the entangled sociospatial evolution of Peterbos and its present condition by showing historical changes? The socio-spatial perspective of urban research, built environment is intrinsically meaningful: It has its semiotics that tell about policy, culture, society, economy, etc., (Gottdiener M. (2011). The urban scale socio spatial analysis method is applied in Peterbos by exploring the housing process, management, maintenance and demography changes through critical timeline study. Critical timeline study, as presented in housing and urban studies (Hui, 2013) is relevant to explore changes. This method allows to identify the critical time of change of system, building condition, people, and important aspects of the site. Through this, general conditions of the critical timelines are shown but it is limited to explore domestic urbanism and exact interior conditions. Section is used primarily to show the timeline study. The section is used to show the demography, maintenance, social and economy issues. Historical aerial photographs are used to compare the changes in the site and the section.
