I grew up in a small coastal town in Western Australia, the BMX scene was small but it was all we needed. There were always jams, bmx parties and wild times in the city, un lucky for us it was a 10 hour bus trip one way and being 15 years old, it wasn’t easy to come by a couple of hundred bucks for a bus ticket... I came up with the idea of hand printing tee shirts from my room and selling them to kids at school with the intention of using the profit to get to the city every few weekends. Although i only ever made it to the city a few times, with profit always going back into the project, my whole take on what i was doing changed when i realized that i had an opportunity staring me right in the face to take nothing and make everything from it. As time and life progressed i found myself working more on my project than attending high school...I barely passed school, but i took something away from it that i never thought was possible, Tempered was born. font-Century Gothic FIRST NAME

JERARD VANDERVALK
Tempereds Anchor Sprocket. CNC Machined from 7075 T6 Alloy. Available in 23T, 25T and 28T. (30t coming soon.) The Tempered Anchor sprocket has been uniquely designed so that the anchor should always be facing downwards. Why, you ask? The anchor being the only point to be facing down, allowed us to shave a lot of material from the topside of the design reducing the weight while still maintaining the strength every sprocket needs at the bottom side of the design. Our unique sprocket design has been shredded, grinded and put through hell before we decided it was time to release them to the public.
