The site is enclosed by two river, one is Euphrates River, another is the city moat. An artificial lake is in the north of the site closer to the theatre. The terrain of this area is flat, with a large area of desert, and the rest are green plants and farmland. The site is near by the ruins of babylon city. There are many relics not far from the site.

- Due to the lack of data of Babylon, the data below is from the nearest city - Baghdad.

The climate is warm all year around and especially hot during May to September.

The upper graphic show the general scenic spots arround the site, such famous Suzhou gardens (the Master-of-Nets Garden) and Guihua Garden where many local people would like to have fun.

One of the aim of this project is to "dispersal", which means dispersing the people from old town to new town. Using this graphic can figure the locations of each scenic spots and the distances between the site and each scenic spots. Coinsidently, the site is on the green ring which surrounds old town. Jogging and taking a walk in the early morning and evening are part of their lives of Suzhou residents live here. Green ring also block the old town. Open and extend it could be possible.

Introduction Cocoon Valley is a complex of Bio-fashion lab and experimental living unit, which located in Barcelona, Spain. To adapt the biophilic design into this project, a new modular structure system was developed, which is inspired by microscope-scale cocoon fabrics and consists of skeleton and block/unit. It is relatively convenient to add a new block or remove an old one in a modular system. Researchers and designers collaborate and live together in Cocoon Valley, and their sustainable lifestyle will set a trend, which leads people wearing cloth made of renewable fibrics, eating food grown on site, and living in a sustainable environment.

Biophilic Research By finding the similarities of cocoon fibers, I categorized 3 main patterns. Then, I combine these 3 types into a new pattern to further form the tectonic system.
