Truckers Against Predators Truckers Against Predators is a network of truck drivers, parents and concerned citizens who advocate for the safety of America’s children every day. They work tirelessly to expose these predators while collaborating with both law enforcement and legislators to influence law and crime standards for child predators. The team monitors social media platforms, chat rooms, websites, games & forums. They are on the lookout for suspicious questions, conversations and connections. These trained adult volunteers act as decoys connecting with suspected criminals, engaging with them in a detailed process and setting a meeting place and time. The police are called on every case. TAP meets the alleged predator and confronts them live on video. The goal is that the exposure and evidence leads to an immediate arrest & public awareness. Truckers Against Predators was founded by Anthony Greene in 2017. Anthony founded TAP because, as a child, he was a victim of child abuse. Anthony saw it as an opportunity to help make a difference in the world.

In fact, some states’ laws dictate that, unless caught in the act, these types of scenarios are deemed “victimless crimes.” Anthony certainly did not agree with that, and neither would most parents. Knowing he could not keep quiet or stand by and do nothing, Anthony got to work and founded TAP. He began seeking out the predators, intercepting them at rendezvous points and exposing them on live video on social media. To date, Anthony is exposing predators almost every day of the week. The police are called ahead of time on every case. Transcripts and video footage are provided to them as evidence. Sometimes the predators are arrested, many times they aren’t. In Arizona, in particular, the city of Yuma Police Department works closely with Anthony and his team to bring justice. It is Anthony’s desire and goal to have great collaborations with every police department. Over the course of the last few years, Anthony has built up a team who help identify and draw out these monsters and expose them for their planned crimes. All of this work is done on personal time and without any compensation. Days, even weeks are spent on just one case to ensure extra caution and proper protocols are in place. Live meetups often last all night once the police are involved.

As a father and truck driver, Anthony Greene drives thousands of miles every month. While on the road, he saw the work of adult predators in truck stops and parking lots in both big cities and small towns across Anthony is active on social media and uses his voice America. After calling the police on multiple occasions to educate parents, influence legislators, support police and receiving little support, Anthony was faced with departments and save children. a dilemma. Many states do not have laws in place that www.truckersagainstpredators.tv adequately protect children from these sick individuals.

Craig Vetter’s

“Mystery Ship”

W

hile researching information on the 1980 Vetter Mystery Ship designed by Craig Vetter I read that Mr. Vetter was a considered a polymath. I was not familiar with this term and looked it up. While the Mystery Ship might be exciting to motorcycle enthusiasts, I am excited by words. What is a polymath? Let us skim over the Mystery Ship first, then go on to new discoveries. The Mystery Ship was a upscaled version of the Kawasaki KZ1000. It was a stronger, smoother, more powerful design imagined and created by experience and that ever present vision to see just how far one can push the envelope. Mr. Vetter was a motorcycle racer with personal drive and discovery. In 1966 he founded Vetter Fairing Company which manufactured motorcycle accessories, and by 1970 had become the largest fairing company in the world. Windjammer fairings came from this venture. His dream was to create the ultimate motorcycle focusing on aerodynamics and speed. He sold the fairings company and set his focus on the Mystery Ship until it was considered America’s most exotic motorcycle. The plan was to produce two hundred bikes in the Mystery Ship series, each offering a base model priced around $10,000 with four stages of upgrades and a turbo option. However, only ten models were built. Mr. Vetter crashed his hang glider. His new vision was to concentrate on fuel economy in the motorcycle industry. The Streamliner was a product of this venture, designing fuel economy by aerodynamic fairings. In 1980 his Streamliner bested Harley Davidson in fuel thrift 180 mpg to 100 mpg, respectively. By 1985 Vetter’s design reached 470 mpg. The more I researched Craig Vetter’s accomplishments the more I was amazed by his thought processes. He seemed to flit from one project to the next, using acquired knowledge from each venture to create a new one. He also had time to invent a racing wheelchair. So, I am back to my own discovery of the word

polymath. What did that have to do with Craig Vetter? By definition, a polymath is “a person whose expertise spans a significant number of subject areas, known to draw on complex bodies of knowledge to solve specific problems.” Polymaths realize that patterns learned in one area also apply to other areas. The patterns in math overlap the patterns in musical progressions. Patterns in classical music overlap patterns in poetry. Dancing, swordplay, and sports movements have similar and overlapping patterns. Wind streams and fairings have overlapping patterns that involve aerodynamic properties. Mr. Vetter’s accomplishments may have been in the motorcycle industry, but I can see how polymath was used to describe him. It seems that at each victory or defeat he moved on to the next challenge. From motorcycle racing he designed parts to make a better whole, from the Windjammer experience he designed economy via aerodynamics for motorcycles. From his own downtime he fashioned the racing wheelchair that allowed Jim Knaub to win first place and set a new world record in the 1982 Boston Marathan. I bet Craig Vetter was a bit ADD as well. Anyway, researching for this article was a fun and enlightening experience.

2005 ZX10R Kawasaki Ninja My name is Justin,

I am from Elizabethton, TN. I own this 05 ZX10R Kawasaki Ninja also known as a “Widow Maker.” I have an amazing wife, Kelly, that supports my riding obsession. I started riding when I was young. I rode a dirt bike and three wheeler. In 2020 I met my wife and she also had an obsession so we got a 2011 Suzuki GSXR 600. I rode it for maybe 4 months that year and got rid of it. As a Father’s Day gift her and my son purchased me my first big boy street bike. Mind you I only had less than a year under my belt.

18

That’s the day I got my 05 zx10R that’s in the photos.

I do my own maintenance cause I am a firm believer in as long as I do it, I know it’s done right. My home track is US421 “The Snake” I strongly believe everyone should ride the snake at least once. It’s an amazing mountain road with many curves three different mountains with one valley known as Shady Valley. Another amazing place is the Blue Ridge Parkway and The Mountain 181. I strongly think everyone should give it a try!

Human Trafficking is modern-day slavery, plain and simple. It happens here. And it has to stop.

Williamson Counties. There are a few primary reasons for this:

Consider the facts:

The first reason is related to transportation and location. Nashville is one of only six U.S. cities where 3 major interstates converge. Additionally, you can reach 75% of the U.S. market within a 2-hour flight time from Nashville, making it a strategic point for movement around the country. Nashville is also in close proximity to Atlanta – a large metropolitan area known for high amounts of human trafficking – and this adds to the transportation of victims throughout the state.

In the United States, on average, every two minutes a child is bought or sold for sex. The average age of a child sold for sex is 13 years old. Human Trafficking is the second-fastest growing criminal industry, just behind Drug Trafficking.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) has reported that human trafficking is the second-highest rising crime in the state. This type of exploitation can begin in childhood or adolescence. There is much speculation as to whether this current political and pandemic season is the beginning of the end. Is Jesus standing on the edge of heaven waiting for the signal to call His people home? Could be. May not be. I don’t know, no one knows. But it sure looks like it. For the believer it is a time of anticipation and joy, marred only by the realization that not all our loved ones have chosen to believe. Our hearts cry in desperation for them to get saved. We pray for them, plead with them, show them bible verses, and relate the terrible trials in store for those who are left behind. Every sermon or teaching we hear our first thought is if only this one or that one could hear this, surely that will reach their heart. What is it that God says will reach the hearts of the unsaved? “Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.: Matt 5:16. You, your light, your life so lived that it radiates His light is the best sermon or teaching that we can share with others. “Always be prepared to give the reason for the hope that lies within you.” I Peter 3:15. Ask yourself if those who witness our life can see Jesus’ light. And what of our good works? Does that refer to the money we give to those less fortunate? Or is it the hours we donate to rock babies in the NICU. Maybe, but more likely it is our attitude that shines first. I Cor 13 says all good works are just a lot of heavy metal noise without love. It is our love, our heart that shines Jesus’ light. It is the actions motivated and guided by love that will be our witness to those for whom we pray? How can we touch the heart of another if we don’t have clean hands? The bible speaks of a mote and a beam, or a splinter and a bolder. Have we first examined ourselves without prejudice to determine if we reflect God’s love or if we just think we do? Sharing the reason for our hope in love also allows us to suggest correction or reproof, if it is necessary, while remembering that the scale by which we judge will be the same scale used by God to judge us. There is so much at stake now, if indeed the end is close, we cannot allow fear or frustration to become our witness to lost loved ones. Simply put… we need to clean up our own act first by humbly asking God to show us the beam in our eye and then getting rid of it. We need to pray to act out of the pure love of God to reach as many as we can before He calls us out of here. Think About This

We the people, of the United States of America, are still One Nation under God...And this nation we call Home, is still worth fighting for. Take a Stand. United.

“Then if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14 “What shall we say about such wonderful things as these? If God is for us, who can ever be against us?” Romans 8:31 “For nothing will be impossible with God.” Luke 1:37

H

ow often have you wondered who could think up such a thing when you saw something new and creative? Most people would call it a gift or an art to be able to conceive a design that was well before its time. Way back, all the way to the late 1930’s, a gentleman named Harley Earl doodled a visionary automobile design. In an era of boxy upright vehicles, Mr. Earl designed a low-slung long convertible vehicle he called the Buick Y-Job. Compared to the 1929 Ford Business Coupe which measured 12 feet long and 71 inches tall, the Buick Y-Job was more than 17 feet in length and stood at a mere 58 inches, sporting 13-inch wheels instead of

the standard 16 inch on the large models of the day. This design was dubbed a concept car because it was an abstract intended to show off imagination for futuristic designs and accessories in the automobile industry but never intended to be mass produced for general sales. Mr. Earl built one for himself and displayed it as a hope to revive auto sales as the country recovered from the Great Depression. The Buick Y-Job had conveniences that we take for granted today such as a soft top that was powered operated to retract into a deck behind the seats, hidden away when not in use. He also added powered windows, thank you very much. The smooth front and read fenders gracefully wrapped all the way around to

the doors making giving his design a sleek appearance. just for fun info… a 1938 Buick Y-Job recreation pulled a high bid of $220,000 at the Worldwide Auctioneers There was no such thing as a concept car before the Riyadh Auction in 2019. Buick Y-Job. Now the concept process is the norm in many industries. Mr. Earl built a full-scale clay model of his car which included the tiniest detail and mechanics. Janith Emm The only Buick Y-Job that was produced was driven for many years by Mr. Earl and then fully restored at the Henry Ford Museum, and finally given over to the care of the General Motor Design Center. In 2016, the Buick Y-Job was added to the National Historic Vehicle Register. The waterfall grille design that Mr. Earl carved into his clay model is still used by Buick today. And some
