Truckers Against Predators

Truckers Against Predators is a network of truck drivers, parents and concerned citizens who advocate for the safety of America’s children every day. They work tirelessly to expose these predators while collaborating with both law enforcement and legislators to influence law and crime standards for child predators.

The team monitors social media platforms, chat rooms, websites, games & forums. They are on the lookout for suspicious questions, conversations and connections.

These trained adult volunteers act as decoys connecting with suspected criminals, engaging with them in a detailed process and setting a meeting place and time.

TNFT TNFT

The police are called on every case. TAP meets the alleged predator and confronts them live on video. The goal is that the exposure and evidence leads to an immediate arrest & public awareness.

Truckers Against Predators was founded by Anthony Greene in 2017. Anthony founded TAP because, as a child, he was a victim of child abuse. Anthony saw it as an opportunity to help make a difference in the world.

As a father and truck driver, Anthony Greene drives thousands of miles every month. While on the road, he saw the work of adult predators in truck stops and parking lots in both big cities and small towns across America. After calling the police on multiple occasions and receiving little support, Anthony was faced with a dilemma. Many states do not have laws in place that adequately protect children from these sick individuals.

In fact, some states’ laws dictate that, unless caught in the act, these types of scenarios are deemed “victimless crimes.” Anthony certainly did not agree with that, and neither would most parents.

Knowing he could not keep quiet or stand by and do nothing, Anthony got to work and founded TAP. He began seeking out the predators, intercepting them at rendezvous points and exposing them on live video on social media. To date, Anthony is exposing predators almost every day of the week. The police are called ahead of time on every case. Transcripts and video footage are provided to them as evidence. Sometimes the predators are arrested, many times they aren’t. In Arizona, in particular, the city of Yuma Police Department works closely with Anthony and his team to bring justice. It is Anthony’s desire and goal to have great collaborations with every police department.

Over the course of the last few years, Anthony has built up a team who help identify and draw out these monsters and expose them for their planned crimes. All of this work is done on personal time and without any compensation. Days, even weeks are spent on just one case to ensure extra caution and proper protocols are in place. Live meetups often last all night once the police are involved.

Anthony is active on social media and uses his voice to educate parents, influence legislators, support police departments and save children. www.truckersagainstpredators.tv

WHO REMEMBERS?

The FORD PROBE was produced from ’88 to ’97. The Probe was a quite popular car in its day but has since become a forgotten memory for most people. Apparently, this car just wasn’t good enough to stand the test of time. The scary thing is Ford once considered making this car the new Mustang. I for one am glad they didn’t.

old. Many victims are runaway girls who were sexually abused as children.*

1 5

WHAT IS IT...

Sex Trafficking - a commercial sex act induced by force, fraud, or coercion, or in which the person induced to perform such an act has not attained 18 years of age.

Labor Trafficking - the recruitment, harboring, transportation, provision, or obtaining of a person for labor or services, through the use of force, fraud or coercion for the purpose of subjection to involuntary servitude, peonage, debt bondage, or slavery.

Ritualistic Abuse - Ritual abuse is an extreme, sadistic form of abuse of children and non-consenting adults. It is methodical, systematic sexual, physical, emotional and spiritual abuse, which often includes mind control, torture, and highly illegal and immoral activities such as murder, child pornography and prostitution. The abuse is justified by a religious or political ideology.

FORCE, FRAUD, OR COERCION

Human trafficking happens around the world. “There are an estimated 25 million trafficking victims worldwide” (Polaris Project). Victims are often forced to engage in prostitution, pornography, exotic dancing or ritualistic abuse.

Human trafficking is the second fastest growing criminal enterprise behind drug trafficking.

There is no one consistent face of a trafficker. Traffickers include a wide range of criminal operators, including individual pimps, small families or businesses, loose-knit decentralized criminal networks, and international organized criminal syndicates.

TNFT TNFT

The number of trafficking victims in the US is largely unknown. However, hundreds of thousands of US citizens alone are estimated to be at risk of commercial sexual exploitation and the ritualistic abuse.

How traffickers trap victims into modern day slavery.

Force: Causing serious harm or physical restraint.

Fraud: Threats of serious harm to, or physical restraint against, a person or another person.

Coercion: Threats to harm him/her or their family, threats to blackmail with photos, confidential information, etc.

Trafficking does not require transportation or border crossing, and does not only happen to immigrants or foreign nationals. Trafficking does not require physical force, physical abuse, or physical restraint.

The consent of the victim is considered irrelevant, as is payment.

Bikers Against Trafficking (BAT) was started in January, 2016 by Dr. Patrick “Doc” Nave and Diena Cannavino because of the great need that existed to educate those in the United States and around the world about the great tragedy know as Human Sexual Trafficking. At present BAT averages seeing 8 to 10 survivors a week for counseling.

Doc has a doctoral degree in Psychotherapy; is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor & Masters Certified Addiction Professional in the state of Florida; an ordained minister; and owner of Sojourners Recovery & Wellness Center in Lake Mary, Florida. He is also a clinical expert in the area of Human Sex Trafficking and in dealing with issues of intense trauma. He is also a survivor.

Diena is a Human Trafficking survivor who is a Certified Addiction Professional and the Business Director at Sojourners Recovery & Wellness Center in Lake Mary, Florida. She provides clinical counseling for survivors and seeks to make a difference in the lives of others.

Bikers Against Trafficking is a non-profit that exists to educate, equip, empower and mobilize members of the motorcycle community (and those who are like minded) to combat human sex trafficking by building awareness, providing counseling & freeing survivors.

GOALS

1: Provide counseling and addiction treatment for survivors and their families.

2: Build a presence at Bike Rallies in the United States and Internationally. We also hope to sponsor or co-sponsor bike rallies and poker runs around the country.

3: Provide material and Online resources that teach motorcyclists (and others) how to be aware and what they can do.

4: Connect with area churches and organizations that seek to eradicate Human Trafficking. Partner with all law enforcement agencies and organizations that work to eliminate this blight.

5: Work to eliminate sexual abuse that targets children. It has been discovered that 80-90% of all trafficked survivors have been sexually abused as a child. If we can eliminate this, the risk goes astronomically down.

We also have groups in Florida, Wisconsin and Kentucky and hope to grow to cover the world.

We have been invited to speak in the Netherlands, the Ukraine, Washington DC, at the United Nations, and at area biker rallies throughout the US. We communicate regularly to over 7,000 each day via our Facebook page and have taught thousands about Human Trafficking via our “free” workshops.

We have held poker runs, been at rallies, set up at churches and for other organizations.

We have been part of a documentary on human sexual trafficking, been on the radio & television as well as in the newspaper.

TNFT TNFT

We have spoken to Mental Health Counselors and Addiction professionals, presented at churches, business organizations, motorcycle groups, international events and community awareness rallies.

We have provided counseling services for survivors and have talked with tens of thousands face to face at our rallies.

We have been featured in local news, in 2 national biker magazines and are clinical experts in the area of human sex trafficking.

6: Purchase property where we can build a retreat center & homes to educate, provide counseling, and empower those who have escaped human trafficking by getting them jobs and places to live.

7: Start local groups in each State and Country.

We have partnered with DCF, Devereux, Homeland Security and other State & National agencies/task-forces to battle trafficking.

Tennessee Human Trafficking BE AWARE

Human Trafficking is modern-day slavery, plain and simple. It happens here. And it has to stop.

Consider the facts:

In the United States, on average, every two minutes a child is bought or sold for sex. The average age of a child sold for sex is 13 years old. Human Trafficking is the second-fastest growing criminal industry, just behind Drug Trafficking.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) has reported that human trafficking is the second-highest rising crime in the state. This type of exploitation can begin in childhood or adolescence. Despite common misconceptions, the Polaris Project’s statistics show that the majority of trafficked individuals in the country are U.S. citizens, not foreign nationals. It is a harsh reality that the young people in our lives may be the same ones vulnerable to traffickers. Additionally, human trafficking often does not align with over-dramatized media portrayals. Manipulation is more common than abduction, and most often, a trafficker is a family member, friend or individual a victim already knows.

According to the TBI, human trafficking cases have been reported in every county in Tennessee. A large amount of them are reported in Davidson and

Williamson Counties. There are a few primary reasons for this:

The first reason is related to transportation and location. Nashville is one of only six U.S. cities where 3 major interstates converge. Additionally, you can reach 75% of the U.S. market within a 2-hour flight time from Nashville, making it a strategic point for movement around the country. Nashville is also in close proximity to Atlanta – a large metropolitan area known for high amounts of human trafficking – and this adds to the transportation of victims throughout the state.

The second reason that Nashville is a popular spot for human trafficking is its large tourism and sporting industries. Studies have shown that popular events that are characterized by large influxes of people (like the Super Bowl, for example) typically increase the demand for sexual exploitation. The presence of both the Nashville Predators and Tennessee Titans, as well as events such as CMA Fest, the NFL Draft, and Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival can drive a demand for trafficked services and make it harder for traffickers to be identified and caught.

The BUICK REATTA was produced from ’88 to ’91. In those four years Buick only produced justover 21k. I’m thinking most have forgotten this car for good reason.

Hometown Heroes US

Our Mission

To honor those who served and to support those still serving.

Our Patch

There is an old saying in the motorcycle community ... “If it’s not in your heart, don’t put it on your back.” This is why we designed every single detail of our back-patch with a specific meaning. Our organization’s colors are the same as those of our nation ... Red, White, and Blue. These colors represent the patriotism that each of us share, as evidenced by our chosen professions. The U.S. Flag is tattered, symbolizing the hardships endured while serving our communities, states, and nation ... as well as those endured by our families that stand with us. The background of the patch is white to remind us of the purity of our mission and that we represent something larger than ourselves. The patch is bordered in black. This is to honor those who are no longer with us; true heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice. The figures on the patch are silhouetted. This is to represent all who serve, or have served, regardless of gender, age, race, religion, heritage, or social status. These silhouettes are positioned in front of the flag, standing tall. This is to inform all who see our patch that we stand for our flag, we stand by our oaths, and we stand together as family ... Military, Law Enforcement, Firefighters, EMS, and other Emergency Response Personnel alike.

TNFT TNFT

Our Organization

Hometown Heroes U.S. is a motorcycle based association of men and women who understand the true definition of service. Our members are current or former Military, Law Enforcement, Firefighters, Search and Rescue, Emergency Medical Services, 911 Dispatchers, and family members who share a certain “esprit de corps” along with a passion for riding motorcycles. We are law-abiding citizens who are united in supporting and serving our communities, states, and nation. Although Hometown Heroes is not a charity, many of our members are active in numerous charitable causes within their local areas, especially those that benefit children’s organizations, our Veterans, and the families of Fallen Police Officers and other First Responders. We take great pride in our commitment to our communities and helping those in need.

So yes, we agree ... If it’s not in your heart, don’t put it on your back.

WHO REMEMBERS?

The CHEVROLET GREENBRIAR RAMPSIDE AND LOADSIDE were produced from ’61 to ’65. Both trucks were part of Chevys Corvair line. The Loadside was the rarest with approximately 3k or so ever produced from ’61 to ’62 and came with the standard tailgate. The Rampside came standard with a tailgate and a fold down side ramp. These were used by the Bell Telephone Company because loading and unloading of cable drums was greatly eased by the side ramp. As near as I could gather there were less than 20k Rampsides ever produced. Even though the general public must not have been too impressed with either of these models, I kind of like the side ramp idea.
