Tailored training and expert services TVO provides training and expert services tailored to order for your company, work group or a specific professional field. Our training services are always planned in collaboration with the client and based on the interests and needs of the client. We can organise, for example, training events, seminars, company-specific training workshops, theme days and other events related to a specific professional field. The strong culture of training and competence development nurtured by TVO guarantees an excellent basis for provision of expert training services. In 2012, TVO employed more than 300 in-house expert training instructors. A total of 8 636 training days were invested in the personnel, or an average of 9.8 days in every employee. (TVO’s Social Responsibility Report 2012.) Olkiluoto boasts excellent facilities for different needs. 20 classrooms, two auditoria, facilities for fire safety training as well as plant-identical simulators for the most challenging training needs.

Topics have included operating experience, safety culture, maintenances, training activities, fire safety and nuclear waste management. European Commission, Training to improve safety culture has been provided within the framework of Commission-funded projects for experts of the Russian nuclear power plants of Smolensk and Novo Voronezh as well as for representatives of Bulgarian and Ukrainian nuclear power plants and authorities.
