Greetings! Hello Division 52, I hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving. With winter break approaching I want to remind everyone to pay your dues before it’s too late. I have been doing club visits and it brings me joy to see a great number of active members. One thing I want to make clear is that we wouldn’t have anything without the members. You are all an important part of what makes Key Club be able to have a positive impact in our community. If you are interested in running for Lieutenant Governor of Division 52 please let me know by January 1. and more information is to follow. Lastly, I would like to congratulate East Wenatchee Key Club for being the first club from our division to pay their dues. Thank you for all of the time you guys dedicate to Key Club. Please contact me if you have any questions, my email is teresabendito@gmail.com. With Love and service, Teresa Bendito Lieutenant Governor Division 52

The Eliminate Project

What is the Eliminate Project? Kiwanis International and UNICEF have joined forces to eliminate maternal and neonatal tetanus.

10

About MNT Neonatal tetanus kills one baby every nine minutes—nearly 60,000 newborn children every year. A significant number of women also die due to maternal tetanus. The effects of the disease are excruciating—tiny newborns suffer repeated, painful convulsions and extreme sensitivity to light and touch.
