Precious Memories A Tribute to our Mother If Roses grow in Heaven Lord, please pick a bunch for me. Place them in my Mother's arms and tell her they're from me. Tell her that I love her and miss her, and when she turns to smile, place a kiss upon her cheek and hold her for awhile. Because remembering her is easy, I do it every day, but there's an ache within my heart that will never go away.

Mother Verdell Ammons

Precious Memories A Tribute to our Grandmother A light from our family is gone A voice we loved is stilled A place is vacant in the home Which never can be filled We have to mourn the lost of one We would've loved to keep But God who surely loved her best Has finally made her sleep After a lifetime of her love and joy And music to fill our ears God leaves us with these wondorous memories To help us with these tears.

Mother Verdell Ammons

Precious Memories A Tribute to our Sister God saw she was getting tired, And a cure was not to be, So he put his arms around her, And whispered "Come with me", With tearful eyes we watched her suffer, And saw her fade away, Although we love her dearly, We could not make her stay, A golden heart stopped beating, Hard working hands to rest, God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best, Although her heart stopped beating, Her love will always remain, Her absence puts upon our hearts, A very heavy strain, For now she is in a place of everlasting rest, We just have to understand that God, He only takes the best.
