Invitation to Communion Priest: Behold the Lamb of God, behold him who takes away the sins of the world. Blessed are those called to the supper of the Lamb. Response: Lord, I am not worthy that you should enter under my roof, but only say the word and my soul shall be healed. During the communion rite as a sign of unity all members of the DePaul Cristo Rey community will join in the procession to the altar. Those not receiving communion are invited to join in the procession to receive a blessing from a Eucharistic minister. If you would like to receive a blessing please approach one of the Eucharistic ministers with your arms crossed over your chest. If you do not wish to receive a blessing, please continue in the procession back to your seat.

Blessing Prayer for Class of 2016 Priest: O God, who have created us in your image and welcomed us to share in the Kingdom of God, bless these students of the DePaul Cristo Rey High School Class of 2016 with the gifts they need to grow and persevere as members of this school community. Give them patience and kindness, courage, strength and faith. Help them to be generous with their gifts and to grow in the hope you promise for all your children. Through Christ our Lord.
