Three O’Clock Prayer Lord Jesus, We gather in spirit at the foot of the Cross with Your Mother and the disciple who you loved. We ask Your pardon for our sins which are the cause of Your death. We thank You for remembering us in that hour of salvation and for giving us Mary as our Mother. Holy Virgin, take us under Your protection and open us to the action of the Holy Spirit. Prayer for Vocations Almighty Father, You have created us for some definite purpose. Grant us the grace to know the path You have planned for us in this life and to respond with a generous “Yes.” Make our archdiocese, parishes, homes and hearts fruitful ground for Your gift of vocations. May our younng people respond to Your call with courage and zeal. Stir among our men a desire and the strength to be good and holy priests. Bless us with consecrated religious and those called to a chaste single life, permanent deacons, and faithful husbands and wives who are a sign of Christ’s love for His Church. Prayer for Help Dear Lord, Help me to open my eyes to you. Often I turn to you in the good times, but when things get rough I find it difficult for myself to find you. I know that you are there but I find myself trying to work through the dark times alone, when I should be leaning on you. I find myself focusing on the problems I have to deal with instead of finding time to focus on you and giving all of my worries to you and the plan you have set for me. Lord I pray for faith. Faith to turn to you in the darkest hour. Faith to give all worries to you and to let you lead me. Help me to realize the strength you provide to me when I feel that I have none. Help me to realize the most subtle of blessing in the times where I am most consumed with grief. In those times of grief, help me to turn to you, trust in you, and trust in the plan that has been laid out for me. Help me and all others to turn to you Lord when we feel we have nowhere else to go. Prayer for Those with Anxiety Dear God, Shine your graces through me and help me realize your never-ending love. In times of struggle, give me strength. In times of doubt, give me faith. In times of anxiety, give me peace. Help me to realize that I shouldn’t worry, but instead to always turn to you, the giver of all that is good. God, help me to say, “I can’t do this on my own, I need your help”. Give me the desire to seek you in a positive light, and to never let worries or anxiousness cloud my vision of you, Lord. Prayer for a New Year Lord we ask you in this New Year be with us, That your presence will guide us and help us make smart decisions. Show us how to be more Christ like, By loving our neighbor as you have loved us. That the people who have wronged us, That we may forgive them as your son Jesus forgave. That when someone is in need, We won’t turn the other way bot to help that person out. That when times are tough or we have hit rock bottom, That we know you are there with us to show us the way out. The Safe Haven of Moeller Dear Lord, Help me to make those who feel as if they can’t find their place, Because there truly is a place for everyone, especially here at Moeller. I was once in that same situation where I didn’t have the greatest friend group and hadn’t found my place yet. Thanks to so many people, I was able to find a great group of friends, and I found my place. Thank you for providing these people and myself with the ability and strength to help me find my place here at Moeller. Moeller is a safe haven for so many where everyone has a place. Help me to make sure that everyone see this, because there are many who do not. Lord, I ask that you help me with this; help me show students at Moeller, new and old, that there is a place for them, and that they are welcomed and cherished. Help me to make everyone feel that Moeller, and more importantly the people at Moeller, are always there in order to provide a safe haven. Just as your kingdom is a safe haven, so is Moeller for so many. Help me to make this safe haven a reality for all, And help those who do not yet realize it to know that everyone here at Moeller is always there to be their safe haven. Amen. Cam Carlin ‘17

Prayer for Long-Lasting Brotherhood May all of the brothers that I have made throughout my life and throughout my time at Moeller stay close to me as we continue on with our lives. Prayer for Others Lord God, You have given us so much in life including a strong high school education and the opportunity to form a brotherhood here at Moeller. I ask that you help guide and strengthen us to affect the community around us in a positive way. We are called by Christ to lift up the defeated, shelter the homeless, and give hope to those who have lost it. Help us to use the gifts and talents You have given to us to change someone’s life this week. Whether it be a family member who is struggling with their life or a stranger who has inspired us, give us the courage to face our fears and climb out of our shell that surrounds us. A Prayer For Those Who Suffer Heavenly Father, All around me there are people who are suffering. Please, Lord, take those who are in constant pain and ease their anguish. You have given us this life to make the best of the situations we are in, and so we ask that you give us the strength to endure the obstacles we face. The Grace Prayer Lord God, please bestow great grace upon those who have found hardship in their lives because of their personal unrest. Help us to truly understand that you are always at our side and are still our best friend in our weakest moments. Prayer for the Forgotten Today we pray. We pray for those who don’t have a meal tonight. We pray for those who are being oppressed by war. We pray for those children who are victims of human trafficking. We pray for our troops overseas, and that they may return home safely. We pray for those who live on the streets and freeze during winter nights. We pray that the sick may be healed. We pray for the animals who are victims of abuse. We pray that any familial issues may be healed. We pray that homeless people who are seeking to revive their life may do so. We pray for the wellbeing of our enemy. We pray for those contemplating suicide, and that they may be turned down the other path. We pray that those who need mental assistance get help. We pray for world peace. Prayer for Equality Heavenly Father, I pray to you that all races can be equal. I pray for the minorities that have suffered from racism through the past hundreds of years. I pray that all races should see each other as equal and that we are all the same people. I pray for anyone that has been restricted to do something due to their race. I pray for not only an end to racism but an end to sexism I pray that anyone no matter their race or gender should be seen as equal Black, white, Hispanic, Indian or any other race should be treated and seen as equal. As they develop a closer relationship with the people of El Salvador, may they see you within the lives of the people as they do your work.
