PLANNED GIVING? Choosing to honor one or more charities in your estate plan is called planned giving. By leaving a legacy this way, you are helping to ensure NOVA’s future. A planned gift may take many forms, from designating NOVA as a beneficiary of an IRA or insurance policy, to including a gift of an asset such as securities or tangible property in your will. These kinds of gifts must be considered in light of your overall estate and tax plan. It is vital that you include your financial advisor and family members in these important decisions. Since 1974, NOVA has worked to support, empower, and counsel thousands of victims of violent crime in Bucks County and prevent and eliminate violence in our community through advocacy, education, and prevention programs. During our nearly 50 years of service, our community and its needs have grown and changed, and NOVA has kept pace, evolving to meet our clients where they need us now and planning for the future. NOVA exists to help our clients get back to the life they deserve. We need our supporters to help NOVA continue to meet the needs of our community now and in the years to come. We have been longtime supporters of NOVA and their good works. It only follows that we would want to continue that support long term in the future. We believe that we should contribute as much as possible to help others and to include those organizations in our estate plan. You will be remembered for the good that you do and it gives us comfort to know that we have planned ahead and provided for those who do so much for others.
With a planned gift, you combine your desire to support NOVA with your overall financial, tax, and estate planning goals. Whether you want to put your donation to work today or benefit NOVA after your lifetime, you can find a charitable plan that lets you provide for your family and support NOVA.
