People from Mississippi with Medicare have already saved nearly $58 million on prescription drugs because of the Affordable Care Act. In addition, up to 37,000 young adults have been able to stay on their parents health insurance until they are 26 years old. Jackson Expose’: Are their any new benefits to Mississippians? Jeffrey Chance: Obama Care will be trans-formative. Over 500,000 uninsured and eligible Mississippians will now have access to affordable health care. Even if they have preexisting conditions like cancer, diabetes, or kidney disease. And the coverage will have no insurance caps; meaning that the insurance companies cannot stop funding treatment because of some predetermined cash allotment that has been exhausted. This protects families from going bankrupt just because they get sick.

Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. was founded in 1908 on the campus of Howard University by 16 college students. Alpha Kappa Alpha is the oldest Greek-letter organization established by African American collegetrained women and currently has over 250,000 members worldwide.

Easy Recipie 1 Cup of Sugar 1 Cup of light Karo Syrup 3 Eggs, beaten 2 T. Butter, melted 1 t. Vanilla 1 Cup of Pecan Halves 1 Unbaked Pie Shell Mix sugar, eggs, syrup, vanilla and melted butter. Add pecans and blend. Pour into uncooked pie shell and bake at 350 degrees for 50—55 minutes.
