A NOTE FROM RUSS 2020 is almost in the books & it was a doozy! We have an excellent 2021 slated for you with some great events - we are where golf & good times get together!

The Bunker Project is in full swing; with this great weather, we are making some serious headway. I want to thank all of the membership for their support of this fantastic renovation to our club especially our owners Rick & Barbara Braught.

I want to introduce our new Membership Director, Erin Hess. Erin is from Muenster, Texas, where she grew up playing golf from an early age, eventually playing through High School and two years of collegiate golf at Cameron University. Erin competed on the World Long Drive Tour for five seasons, won the long drive competition in Manzanillo, Mexico, in 2016. Some of her hobbies outside of golf include hiking, cooking, and spending time with family in Muenster. Erin is coming to us from Lajitas, Texas, where she was an Assistant Golf Pro and

BUNKER PROJECT The Territory started our much-needed Bunker Renovation on December 1st. The existing bunkers had deteriorated and were no longer sustainable for a top-tier golf facility. The original liner used during construction, Klingstone, was no longer viable. Time and weather conditions caused extensive erosion to the bunker subgrade, considerable contamination of the bunker sand, and damaged the bunker drainage system. Leaving our course with flooded bunkers and washed-out sand after each heavy rain, and our maintenance staff spending countless man-

Our bunkers will first be excavated down to the subgrade, stockpiling all usable sand for topdressing material. Soil will then be added to repair any erosion our original bunkers sustained. The bunker drains will then be cleaned out and tested to ensure that they are working properly. Any repairs to the drainage will be made at this point. Once the subgrade and drainage are
