I am Terry Wu, a graphic designer living in San Diego, CA. As a recent graduate from the Academy of Art University, I now hold a master’s degree in Graphic Design and Digital Media and a bachelor’s degree in Interior Architecture and Design. I am also an art editor, working at a global media company, Epoch Media Group for years.
I am an architecture enthusiast. I see graphic design as another form of architecture. “Graphic design repeats in miniature what architecture does monumentally.” Successful graphic and architecture design both end with inventions that sit at the intersection of utility and aesthetics. In my design, I am always pursuing a kind of “architectural beauty”, which is extremely structured, organized, balanced, clean and neat.
