The Woman of Silence

What's the epitome of being a woman? Is it when she expresses something or when her voice is being heard like my Mom the head DJ of CLO DJ Ody Munson?

My mom got a very loud and straightforward strong personality which is the reverse version of me. She's my migrant worker mom, always far away from me

But she's more than that, she showed me a good example of how to manage time, live life to the fullest, have a dream, work hard on your goal to reach it, and give back to society too.

To sum it all my mom is a philanthropist on her way, sometimes I'm the one doing the task for her to deliver donations to people, or even simple things like giving telephone loads. Isn't she disturbing me when im so busy studying online?

It's so boring to study online but she will call me 100 times till I answer just to make me laugh How does it feels or how does it go being my mom's daughter?

If she's on her Toastmasters mode 5-7 minutes of discussion or else a red card timer will pop up

If my mom was in her writing mode she will include me in her articles.

A moment of silence if she's writing and I will not hear her voice bugging me but as a writer and author, I will be the one to deliver her books and post them via air or online

I'm just a simple woman but I will never be under the shadow of my mom.

As her daughter I had my own way of showing my love for her and my daddy Devin in my silence if you can hear my heart beat my love echoes

Life during the pandemic is tough, especially for the children of migrant workers like me

Not seeing them on special occasions like my birthday, graduations, in every milestone they are absent. Still, I understand especially if I could buy my needs like a laptop, thanks to my mom and dad who could afford things for my needs although the price is not physically with them.

Maybe I didn't grow up to be raised by my mom but through her works, I learned a lot and treasure life though I'm not very vocal about it.

This year is my graduation day, and I know I made my grandma, grandpa, aunt, uncle, cousins, dad, and most of all, my mom proud.

To all of the daughters and sons of migrant workers let's not forget our parents are sacrificing, leaving us to earn money and help our economy

"Your Worth is how you Create yourself."

Thanks to my mom who made me a DJ every Sunday. I'm a part of a symbol of family day, though I'm very quiet

From our modern-day family to yours

Happy International Women’s day.

DJ Ela's Signing off, just hearing the Melody of my love in my silent mode. That's all for today and going back to my world of silence, going back to be in my victorious graduation march that is approaching.
