Design By combining intelligent design, typographic skills, relevant photography and illustration, we are able to create your corporate and consumer communications. Whether your brief is for a corporate brochure, a new logo, packaging concept, direct marketing, newsletter or magazine, we will help develop your brand to appeal to your target audience.
Brand Development: Floren Fine Art was a new brand launching into the fine art market. The brief was to design a brand that would encompass a quality service combined with high value art sales and portfolio investment. A stylised Fleur-de-lys was employed to give a sense of history and stability to a new company combined with the strong characteristics of Copperplate Gothic typeface, which gives a contemporary feel. The logo was produced in Pantone colours only to ensure consistency. The brand rollout included shop frontage, vehicles and a range of printed collateral.
BRAND GUIDELINES
Rebrand and New Product Launch: St James’s was predominately known as a tea blending company that historically produced high quality teas for the overseas markets. Its previous logo type had poor shelf recognition and only included the tea element of the business. As St James’s was planning to launch a range of high quality coffees a fresh approach was required that retained the heritage of the old logo but distinguished the brand as a provider of both tea and coffee.
Packaging Development: This was the first set of packs to display the new St James’s branding. The vibrant imagery reinforced the truly international flavour of these high quality coffees. The pack shape was chosen to maximise brand standout if the packs were placed on a lower shelf, enabling an easy sight-line.
Digital Illustration: Using Photoshop, Illustrator and various 3D programmes we can create photo-realistic renders of just about anything you can conceive - from pack shots to retouching. Green & Blacks briefed us to create a realistic ‘enamel sign’ to use as large format vinyl wraps on the exterior of their freezers. The finished photoshop file was A1 in size.
Brand Development: Priory Engineering have been established for over 70 years and had never used media to it’s full advantage in gaining business wins in new sectors. We were asked to redesign their logo. The chosen route uses a trefoil to which symbolises the infinite solutions that can be applied in engineering problems.
Website Development: .Following the brand update, came a redesign of the customer facing website. Using strong colours and new photography, we were able to create a website that showcased the clients services and products; giving them a bold and fresh new look.

kj.tv Website Development: Warner Music International briefed Digital Storm to design a completely new look for Katherine Jenkins web presence. With the development of a contempory ‘lounge’ feel to enable the user to use everyday object as links to other pages. The site needed to be based around video content and have a user friendly feel. It was also key to capture data and drive traffic to social networking marketing channels. .
Website development and e-marketing: We have provided high quality web and e-marketing solutions for our clients. Detailed is a selection of pages from the Dorset Tea website. The brief was to provide a website that captured the essence of the brand ‘Refreshingly local’. Also shown is an email campaign driving data capture through sampling.
Interactive Design: We have been working with a leading educational marketing specialist for a number of years and have been lucky enough to have designed some exciting materials for the British Army. This interactive Employability Skills Workshops Activity needed several different sections including video, illustration and game design. Aimed at 14-19 year olds it needed to have credibility and be able to be delivered in either 1 hour, 3 hours or a day long session. Based on a fictitious island, students must plan rescue and relief strategies after an earthquake has left the infrastructure of the island in ruins. Interspersed with news reports and radio transmissions that change the flow of the role play, the students are challenged both mentally and physically with activities such as bridge building.
