he concept began with a gradient (hence the shortening of the word to “Gradi”) to merge the civilizedcivilized city of Sao Paulo with the indigenousindigenous Amazon Rainforest in Brazil. the veins on leaves in the image below, as well as the lighting fixtures that reflect hanging fruit baskets in the streets of Brazil In the deepest part of the restaurant is a green wall that depicts the rustic character of the rainforest.

Rendered Floorplan The gradient is revealing throughout the space and in the flooring and furniture. Modern aesthetics are seen in the lower section of the floorplan and gradually become more dark and rustic towards the top. Gradi seats 208 individuals.

The bar is inspired by a bridge on a hiking trail through the Amazon Rainforest. Coffee is an important aspect of Brazilian culture and while at Gradi, coffee is plentiful, alcohol is also served at the bar. Coffee Bar Perspective
