Description of Project MetaPlex is a group project consisting of four members, The requirements were to design a children’s hospital.hospital. This design entailed in-depth research and strategic planning. According to researchers, nature is an encouraged aspect to implement in clinical design as it promotes wellnesswellness. Along with aesthetics, researchers mention that the layout of a medical center should be precise to ensure patient satisfactory as well as employee productivity.

Rendered Floorplan The Metaplex concept revolves around metamorphosis as children transition from sick to well and grow from child to adult. The stages of butterfly development from larva to adult inspired the color scheme and architectural features of the waiting room.
