The past week-end occur two of the most important competitions of TT and buggy across Europe: The 24 Hours Rally Raid of Greece, and in Portugal the 24 Hours TT in Vila Fronteira.

24 H TT VILA DE FRONTEIRA 2013: The rally organized by ACP recorded a real flood. Participation records were break due to 94 car teams present, and 25 Buggy Teams too. All together, were joined by over 400 pilots, who have encouraged the 16th edition of this competition, considered the closing party of the TT Championship in Portugal.

Among the 43 teams who used Fedima products, the main emphasis was the Vodafone BP Ultimate Team. Known Pilots such as, Jose Pedro Fontes, Miguel Barbosa, António Coimbra, Luis Silva and Nicolas Clerget had a perfect start that began with the fall of the lap record during heat training laps with less than 10 minutes. This result ensured this Team departure for the race in pole position, which was followed by 24 hours of excellent management of the car that led to the triumph in the end.

The team chose for their participation Fedima F/Power in 205/90R16, performing 24 hours a total of 110 laps of the circuit, traveling about 1900 kilometers.

During the race winners only didn’t led for 5 hours , at which point the team of Mario Andrade AC Proto Nissan also equipped with Fedima F/Power in 235/85R16 , took command . However, bad luck would knock on the door of the Portuguese pilot based in France team, which after a tough battle with the BP Ultimate Vodafone team, would suffer mechanical problems in the Proto overnight.

BP Ultimate Vodafone Team winners at 24 Horas TT Vila de Fronteira 2013 At the end of the race, Miguel Barbosa told the media: "This was a spectacular event, is the first time that we had won this race, a quintet of luxury and a fantastic team. The difference was taken at night with Jose Pedro Fontes, which is a great driver and is unbeatable in these conditions.�

3 HOURS BUGGY/UTV VILA DE FRONTEIRA 2013 A total of 25 pilots participating, 15 had their vehicles fitted with Fedima. The resistance behavior and superior grip provided by Extreme Fedima 26.9-14 Premium guided the choice of tyres for the race.

Bruno Martins won this year's edition at the wheel of a Rage Comet R 1400. The pilot ran throughout the race in first place, managing to resist and keep its buggy on the track in a particularly demanding test for the mechanical Buggy / UTV. The victory was achieved only in the last lap, when Bruno Martins has finally overcome the national champion Nuno Tavares, who would finish second.

"It was hard because I felt some difficulties in the middle of the race, but then recovered, I can print a strong rhythm and reached the first place right on the edge," said the winner after the race.

24 HOURS RALLY RAID GREECE In the other side of Europe, took place the 11th edition of the 24 Hours Rally Raid Greece. This event, held just a few kilometers from the capital Athens, with a slightly different formula , instead of being played on a loop , the teams travel a sequence of four selective sectors , among which there are 90-minute intervals for assistance of machines .

With regard to vehicles admitted there are some differences from the Portuguese race , with five categories in the competition : Z1 ( Cars T1 , T2 and T3 ) , Z2 ( Proof of regularity ) , Z3 ( Tourist ) , Z0 ( intended for SUV ) , ATV and Moto yet . Among these different categories, 65 teams attended to the race.

In the main category, Z1 which militate machines Competition Extreme Hot Bulgarian team won. The Bulgarian Team led his Mercedes G to the top of the standings. The duo consists of Desislav Slavchev and Margarita Staynova, and these wonder pilots won the race with a lead of 10m47s. This result, achieved in very difficult weather conditions and areas of very muddy track was crucial to ride on the Fedima F/Power 235/85R16, providing the Mercedes G excellent traction and grip strength in Greek floors.
