General A 24 Hour Off Road competition event for off road vehicles. It is held in central Greece, few kms from Athens. This is the 8th year of the endurance adventure event. It is held over four loops, each one ending with a service of 90 minutes. The event is taking place on the last weekend of November, for this year 2011 at the 26th and 27th of the month. 2009, Borris Gadasin, World Baja Champion, took part at ...the event. This event was sponsored by Cooper Tyres and City of Pireas, Greece. 2010 competitors from Bulgaria, Roumania and Slovenia made the event international. Rally (T1 and T2) and normal cars are accepted. 2008 year we had 111 competitors from 4 countries. Total length is about 800 kms. Driving time 24 hours, non stop! Starts Saturday 12:00Z. Ends Sunday 12:00Z. The terrain consists of many types of gravel. From fast, wide roads up to difficult, mud paths and twisting mountain roads. From zero altitude, up to 1500 meters, on the rocky mountains of Central Greece. During day and night, close to the biggest night in the area, that lasts for 14 hours. Five categories: - Z1, Open, modified, including T1, T2 and T3 cars. - Z2, Normal, normal, regularity. No safety precaution needed. - Z3, Entry, just cruise with smaller average speed requirements. Three member crews are allowed. - Z0, SUV, as entry, with SUV vehicles. - ATVs. - Motos Foreign competitors will be our quests. They have to pay no administrative cost. Transport and accommodation can be arranged in low prices, if requested. For European competitors 4 days are enough for coming, racing, return to base. Ships from and to Italy depart every day. Athens Airport is just few kilometers from the start. Scrutinizing is held just before the race, Saturday morning, for foreign competitors. We would like to invite you to visit our beautiful country and enjoy one of the most challenging 4X4 events ever. Greek mountains, well know from Acropolis Rally for their hardness, will be in your disposal for 24 hours. Face the challenge of driving during the night. Compete against time and fatigue, where the gods and muses lived. Fill free to contact us for more details. Please invite your friends to participate. Send applications to organization indicating team, crew names, vehicle, country and telephone.

History  2010: the harder 24 Hours up to now. Length 750 kms, special stages 500 kms. The weather was dry and the terrain hard. The race was based on Central Greece. This was the first time ATVs took part in the event. 70 participants started the event. Trayanov /Marinkov from Bulgaria, driving a Toyota Land Cruiser were the first non-Greeks to win the event. 

2009: the participation of Borris Gadasin, World Baja Champion, made the difference. The event was crossing Central Greece and Evia Island. Length 852 kms, special stages 301 kms. 87 vehicles started the race. Kyrtsos/Anastasopoulos driving a Land Rover 90 won the event.

2008: the weather, raining all around the clock, made the event as hard as possible. Out of 108 starters – an event record - only 35 reached the end. It was the first time the event had foreign participants. The event was crossing Central Greece and Evia Island. Length 730 kms, special stages 150 kms. Sioutis/Makris driving a Suzuki Jimny 1.3 won the event for the second time.

2007: Was not a 24 Hours event, but a 32 Hours one! 1150 kms, held over 2 days, with a stop of only 6 hours! 30 competitors started the event, only 14 ended it! The weather was again the deciding factor, as rain, fog and snow made the conditions as hard as possible. The event was crossing Central Greece and Evia Island. Sioutis/Makris driving a Suzuki Jimny 1.3 won the event.

2005: An 1000 kms event, held over old Acropolis Rallye special stages, over the Central Greece. 32 hours of competition, with just 6 hours stop. The weather was dry and the terrain hard. Almost 50 competitors started the race. Christakeas/Karaminas, driving a Mitsubishi Pajero L40 3.0 won the event.

2005: The most difficult 24 Hours up to know. The event was based on Evia Island. The weather was very bad. The island was covered by snow and declared in emergency situation! No other vehicles were moving on Evia during the weekend! 63 competitors started the event, 37 finished it. Its length was 540 kms. Voulgarakis/Makris/Makris, driving a Mitsubishi Pajero V20 3.5, won the event.

2004: The seond 24 Hours event was the one that made the difference and established this kind of off road events in Greece. It was based on Attiki, the county of Athens. It had a length of 560 kms and 46 kms on special stages. 48 competitors started the event, 38 finished it. The weather was good and the terrain dry. Koutas/Partsinevelos, driving a Land Rover 110 3.5, won the event.

2003: The first 24 Hours off road event in Greece. The idea was borned during a night off road expedition and was immediately applied. Was based on Central Greece and had 34 participants. The length was almost 700 kms. Snow and mud were the deciding factors. Holevas/Doulas, driving a Mitsubishi Pajero V20 3.5, won the event.
