Supplementary Regulation – Program – Race Information Athens, November 29-30 2014 1. General 1.1. Definitions The race will take place in accordance with: 1.1.1. The Rules and Regulations of FIM, general articles 1.1.2.The General Rules of ENDURANCE RACE 4X4 for vehicles and its annexes / circulars.

1.1.3. The General Rules of RALLY RAID on bikes – Quads F of this specific regulation.

1.1.4. The general rules and their annexes are available on the organizers official site: www.ihnilatis4x4.gr.

1.1.5. Where there are conflicts in the regulations, these are clarified by the specific regulation, circulars that may follow, while disputes are resolved by the Board of Stewards, the Marshals and Race Director.

3. Race Plan 3.1. Total length 1018 kms.

3.2. Selected routes lenght 841 kms.

3.3. Asphalt less than ~18%.

3.4. The route concerning Open, Hobby and motos/ATVs could be different.

3.5. There will be liaisons and selective stages.

3.6. The number of selective stages will be 6.

3.7. The total length of selective stages will be over 80% of the total length of the race.

3.8. Where selective stages cross asphalt, there will be speed limits.

4. Accepted Vehicles 4.1. Open Class Cars T1 FIA T2 FIA T3 FIA TH FIA Z1 OMAE GR 4.2. Hobby Class Cars, Z2 OMAE GR 4.3. Motos 4.4. ATVs 4.5. Buggies, SBSs and UTVs will participate at T3/3 class (open) as cars.

5. Registration With respect to foreign competitors, International – European Teams License will be accepted, or a National racing license together with a Starting Permission from the Federation where they belong. . Anyone who wants to participate must complete an application form and deposit the amount corresponding to the class, indicating their name in the comments section and sending it by fax to +302108041184 or by email to master@ihnilatis4x4.gr with the deposit receipt of the entry fee. For more information please go to our website http://www.ihnilatis4x4.gr for the application form to be accepted it must be accompanied by a bank transfer receipt. The original must reach the organizer no later than administrative inspection. The Organizing Committee, Ihnilatis, officers, judges, sponsors, advertisers and the drivers of the race, do not assume any liability to third parties for any accident which may happen during the race. The liability is held by the insurance company which has concluded a contract covering risks from these activities. Competitors should be aware that the stages take place on roads open to public traffic and must observe the National Road Codes throughout the race.

5.3. The administration fee is 150 €. It has to be deposited in order a registration to be accepted. Administration fee is included in total fee.

5.4. Fees, except registration fee, are refunded if the race is canceled or the entry is recalled before October 31st.

5.5. THE FEE INCLUDES: 5.5.1. Administrative fee 5.5.2. All papers, permissions and race numbers 5.5.3. Road book 5.5.4. Assistance road book and GPS assistance track 5.5.5. Sporting charges 5.5.6. Accommodation on bivouac with facilities 5.5.7. Damaged vehicle recovery (to the nearest bivouac) 5.5.8. On track and bivouac medical assistance 5.5.9. Civil liability motor insurance valid for race days 5.5.10.

5.3. THE FEE DOES NOT INCLUDE: 5.3.1. Fuel 5.3.2. travels to go and leave the rally 5.3.3. individual life insurance 5.3.4. food (except official catering ceremony) 5.3.5. visas and border fees 5.3.6. accommodation

6. Insurance The organization has no liability for any accident that will take place during the race.

Any damage will be paid by the insurance of OMAE (Greek Motorsports Federation).

As the event takes place in open to traffic roads, the participants must obey the traffic laws.

7. Race 7.1. STARTING POSITIONS AND RACE START Motorcycles will be the first to start the race. After a period of 10 minutes Quads will start, while the first car will follow in time to be decided by the Race Director, but no less than forty (40) minutes after the last Quad has left the start line. The first Stage start order (Introduction) will be decide by the Race Director. After each Stage, the start order will be the finishing order of the previous stage.

7.2. ROUTES AND TRAFFIC 7.2.1. The race will take place on roads open to public traffic.

7.2.2.Competitors are required throughout the race to obey the National road rules and the maximum permissible speed set by them, and should show proper attention to regular users of the road. Especially for vehicles passing through residential areas, a designated maximum speed limit of 30 or 50 kilometers is set, unless the local road codes and signs provides lower limit.

7.2.3. In each case, the penalties can reach up to and exclusion from the race.

7.2.4.The route control and speed control will be checked by GPS tracking system, and will be monitored during and after the race, competitors routes will be checked for any violations.

7.3. VEHICLES AT THE START OF THE RACE Vehicles must be presented at the start area, 30 minutes before the start of the race; otherwise the organizer may fill the position with another crew or competitor and will not be given permission to start. In this case, the crew which did not appear at the start area can be excluded from the race or stage.

7.4. VEHICLE TRANSPORTATION The competitors could transport the vehicles from TC0 to start of first SS and from finish of last SS to finish of the race by any mean if they are present, they follow the road book and the vehicles obey all the traffic roules.

7.5. TIME KEEPING The wanted time for each section, liaison or selective, will be published on the road book. The biggest unit will be the hour and the smallest the second.

For selective stages (cars) the decisive factor is the difference between the time achieved and the time wanted, counted in seconds.

For motos and ATVs the fastest wins the selective stages. With time counted in seconds For liaison the decisive factor is the difference between the time achieved and the time wanted, counted in minutes.

7.6. SELECTIVE STAGES AND LIAISONS Selective stages and liaisons will be open to traffic. The average speed (cars) is: 7.6.1. 50 kph for OPEN class 7.6.2. 40 kph for HOBBY class 7.6.3. 120 kph maximum speed 7.7. PENALTIES FOR MISSING A PASSAGE CONTROL POINT The penalty for missing a PCP is 30’ minutes for each of them.

7.8. PENALTIES FOR LIAISONS 7.8.1. For each minute early or delay, 10 seconds of penalty are applied.

7.8.2.As delay will be considered any failure to start a section or a liaison in the time given by the organization.

7.8.3. At the start of selective stages each competitor will have 3 minutes to prepare between TC and SS start.

7.9. OTHER PENALTIES 7.9.1.The Race Director of the course taking into account, the penalties set by the General Regulation Rally Raid or penalties set by the General Regulation of resistance, and after agreement with the Stewards may impose penalties that can reach as far as exclusion from the race. If rider or crew calls for help via mobile phone for direction assistance, the penalty is 15 minutes. If 3 or more calls are made, the maximum penalty is set, assuming that the competitor has not completed the Selective Stage.

7.9.2. Misssing Selective Stage The worst performance (time+penalties) of the competitors for this SS plus 1 hour.

7.9.3. Missing Liaison The worst performance (time+penalties) of the competitors for this liaison plus 1 hour.

7.10. MAXIMUM DELAY 7.10.1. The maximum delay for each SS is set to 60’ minutes.

7.10.2. The maximum delay for the entire race is set to 2 hours.

7.10.3. Those maximum delays can be changed by the clerk of the course.

7.10.4. In order to be considered as finished the race, a competitor should finish the last section.

7.11. ABANDON THE RACE Any competitor should inform the organization as soon as he decides to abandon the race. This will help everybody to be focus on the competitors that are continuing.

7.12. PROBLEM – ACCIDENT Any competitor that faces a problem or an accident must inform the organization as soon as possible. Failure to do so can reach up to exclusion from the race.

7.13. GPS TRACKING Trajectories of vehicles are monitored by satellite tracking – recording systems, where they are able to calculate the correct route of the race, any violations of speed limits, stopping of the vehicle due to technical problems, and any delays due to unforeseen events as e.g. a blocked path, providing help in case of an accident, etc. in such cases the Race Director may decide to remove the particular delay from a crew, when it is proven that the delay was due to a unforeseen event or foreign assistance in case of injury of another competitor.

7.13.1. Penalties for overspeeeding: 7.13.1.1. 0-10 kph overspeeding: 30”/kph 7.13.1.2. 11-20 kph overspeeding: 60”/kph 7.13.1.3. 21-40 kph overspeeding: 120”/kph 7.13.1.4. over 40 kph overspeeding: exclusion from the race.

7.13.2. Two changes of the system and three warning lead to exclusion from the race.

7.13.3. Misuse is the case were all the other systems worked well on a specific point and the one under investigation was off for more than two minutes.

7.13.4. If the GPS system marshals report that the competitor misuse the system, this can lead to exclusion from the race.

7.13.5. The GPS system can and will be used to extract from the total time, the time the competitor used to help in a case of an accident or unforeseen delay.

7.14. PREARRIVAL Prearrival is permitted only in cases that are strictly mentioned on the road book.

Prearrival is permitted for motos, ATVs and Hobby class in bivouac after SS 3.

7.15. FINAL CLASSIFICATION The final classification will be the result of summing up the times from SSs, Liaisons and the penalties. The one having the less time finishes first etc.

7.16. FINISH A competitor in order to be considered finished must deliver carne de route at the finish of the race. Otherwise it will be considered as DNF.

8. Fuel 8.1. During the race fuel can be carried only in the deposits of the vehicles, standard or homologated. Not in canister, bottles etc. Falling to do so leads to exclusion from the race.

8.2. Only Greek free market fuel can be used during the race. Falling to do so leads to exclusion from the race.

8.3. Refueling can be held ONLY at fuel stations. Falling to do so leads to exclusion from the race.

9. SERVICE – TEAMS 9.1. Service to the vehicles can be done only in the specific bivouac areas. Any repair, touch, positioning or leading from people that do not belong to the crew leads to exclusion from the race.

9.2. Any external help, except from other competitors, Is forbidden. Even if it comes from organization vehicle, leads to exclusion from the specific stage or liaison.

Second time leads to the exclusion from the race.

9.3. Maximum speed inside the bivouac is 20kph. First overspeeding has a fee of 200 €, that have to paid directly. Second overspeeding leads to exclusion from the race.

9.4. Onlly the crew can represent the competitor against the organization. If any other asks something or bothers the organization in the name of the competitor, can lead up to exclusion from the race.

9.5. The crew or the team representative – if the team fee has been paid – can communicate with the Crew Relations Marshal, who has the duty to transfer their requests to organization.

10. PROMOTION - ADVERTISING Organizer keeps the right to put stickers on competitors vehicles. If the competitor refuses to comply the penalty is the amount of entry fee doubled. Competitors, would have the ability to promote their sponsors only in the designated bivouac, vehicles, clothes etc.

11. CARS EQUIPEMENT Cars must carry: 11.1. Ropes, at least 2 11.2. Carabineer, snatch blocÎş 11.3. Spare wheels 11.4. Lift 11.5. Fire extinguisher 2kg 11.6. Pull point, front and rear 11.7. Tools 11.8. Water 2 liters 11.9. GPS & batteries 11.10. Two mobile phones 11.11. Lights, horn.

11.12. Sleeping bags.

12. SAFETY EQUIPEMENT All competitors are responsible for the safety equipment given by the organization (GPS trackers, timekeeping sensors – transponders, mobile or global phones), and they had to return them back in the same condition. Otherwise, they had to pay for any damage or loss. A warranty of 150 euros will be deposited during administration and refunded when equipment is returned in perfect condition.

13. TROPHIES There are cups for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd in every category. All participants who will finish the race will take medals. Cups for classes winners in motorcycles. Cups for overall winne+rs in motorcycles. The organization may give extra cups as it likes.

14. PRICE GIVING CEREMONY The price giving ceremony will take place at Kotzia Square at 20:00 Sunday evening.

Anybody not present will be considered DNF.
