Architectu lighting by a Architectural Street Lighting, the aesthetic Alfred Priess A/S range of columns, is designed and developed by architect Bjarne Schl채ger, MAA. Anchored in the concept of the town as an active modern entity of a new kind, the range encourages us to focus more intently on the identity, quality and aesthetics of street furniture. Living and moving in public spaces has become an important sensory experience, not least in city centres where the tempo is slow and attention to detail more pronounced. Bearing this trend in mind, Architectural Street Lighting is created to accommodate the varied needs of urban spaces for functionalities and aesthetic expressions. Bjarne Schl채ger has worked with architectonic planning and urban lighting design for many years. He is the creator of a number of keynote projects in Denmark.

Filigran Functionality in a new light
The sculptural, conical lines of the Filigran column are a modern interpretation of the old-fashioned latticework columns. Despite an aura of transparency, the column is an eye-catching feature which confers magnificence on any environment. The characteristic structure of this column is beautifully enhanced by an uplight, a modest stroke of architectonic genius creating fascinating streetscape lighting. The architect has designed three variations of this lightweight column. Two street light columns of different heights and a lower column for park lighting. Each Filigran column is a graceful landmark in its own right. Together they synergise and contrast and become the ideal adornment for streets, open spaces and parks. The flexible Filigran column can be combined with a wide range of luminaires.

The Entasis column manifests patent associations with the magnificent columns of Ancient Greece. This innovative design is an architectonic revolution set to replace the traditional step post column. A comprehensive range of brackets makes Entasis perfect for differentiating in urban areas. The sleek lines of the tall Entasis columns with the Entasis Basic bracket are the ideal choice for main roads into the city where speed is high. Optional architectonic features, such as a bronze hood, specially toned O ring and LED light, can be added as you approach the city centre. An impressive visual experience, bridging the gap between Ancient Greece and the twenty-first century.

Inspired by the aesthetic natural beauty and elegant movement of the swan, we designed the CitySwan lighting column. ALU Round Eco-friendly designed aluminium columns
Aesthetics and environmental consciousness go hand in hand in the architectonic beauty of the ALU Round column. This aluminium column perfectly complements the increasing number of luminaires designed in aluminium and is crafted in 100% recyclable materials. Architectural design and environmental concern are quite simply united in ALU Round, which is an approved passive safety column that enhances road traffic safety. Supplied as standard with natural anodised finish. For a surcharge, columns may be anodised in selected colours or powder coated in RAL colours. The simple ALU Round column is available in two models: conical or cylindrical. Brackets or projectors can be mounted directly onto the column.

The range of brackets in Architectural Street Lighting by Alfred Priess A/S represents the ultimate in flexibility. A plethora of well-designed options opens up for creative streetscape solutions and individualised lighting in public spaces without jeopardising the overall impression. The aim is to find precisely the right aesthetic impression to enhance the atmosphere of the city and to create something outstanding.
Filigran Single bracket Single bracket matches all column heights in the Filigran series. The timeless design of this stylish bracket perfectly matches the lightweight Filigran column. Supplied as standard in galvanized steel in accordance with DS/EN ISO 1461. For a surcharge, columns may be painted in one of the six Priess colours (see page 20). Fixture: 350 and 700 mm Ă&#x2DC;48 mm. Can be mounted on any Filigran column.
Filigran Twin bracket This stylish Filigran Twin bracket has been specially designed for use on high columns (5 and 6 m). The twin bracket is ideal for lighting on major roads and larger urban spaces. Supplied as standard in galvanized steel in accordance with DS/EN ISO 1461. For a surcharge, columns may be painted in one of the six Priess colours (see page 20). Fixture: 350 and 700 mm Ă&#x2DC;48 mm. Can be mounted on any Filigran column.

Basic
ALU Cross bracket
The X bracket adds style to the top of the column and can be combined with an optional LED top light in various colours. Supplied as standard in galvanized steel in accordance with DS/ EN ISO 1461. For a surcharge, columns may be painted in one of the six Priess colours (see page 20). Fixture: 250, 500 and 700 mm Ø48 mm. Can be fitted to any column with Ø60 mm top connection. For perfection add a decorative ring between column and bracket in bronze, brass, stainless steel or lacquered in a Priess colour.
For maximum focus on the column and bracket, the simple Basic bracket is the ideal choice. The Basic bracket is the obvious choice for columns on the outskirts of the city, or when you seek a more simple bracket for the city centre. Supplied as standard in galvanized steel in accordance with DS/EN ISO 1461. For a surcharge, columns may be painted in one of the six Priess colours (see page 20). Fixture: 250, 500 and 700 mm Ø48 mm. Can be fitted to any column with Ø60 mm top connection. LED top light is available for Basic as an accessory.

O-ring

ALU Golf bracket
The O-ring is an innovative, decorative detail. Paint the bracket in one colour and the O-ring in another to create individuality. Designed to resemble a stretched rubber band holding the bracket and column together. Supplied as standard in galvanized steel in accordance with DS/EN ISO 1461. For a surcharge, columns may be painted in one of the six Priess colours (see page 20). Fixture: 700 mm Ø48 mm. Can be fitted to any column with Ø60 mm top connection. For perfection add a decorative ring between column and bracket in bronze, brass, stainless steel or lacquer in one of the six Priess colours.
This bracket with its cast bronze hood is nothing short of extravagant. The hood features three recesses, symbolising the E in the Priess logo. Supplied as standard in galvanized steel in accordance with DS/EN ISO 1461. For a surcharge, columns may be painted in one of the six Priess colours (see page 20). Fixture: 250, 500 and 700 mm Ø48 mm. Can be fitted to any column with Ø60 mm top connection. Perfect the impression with an optional decorative bronze ring between the column and bracket.
The simple lines of the Golf bracket make this a stylish addition to the ALU Round column. Supplied as standard with natural anodised finish. For a surcharge, brackets may be anodised in selected colours or powder coated in RAL colours. Fixture: 460 mm Ø48 mm. Can be fitted to any column with Ø48 x 100 mm connection.

Priess 275 – ALU Grey
for the perfect touch
Fine details often make all the difference – and the Architectural Street Lighting by Alfred Priess A/S is no exception. The Filigran column is available with LED uplight, while the Entasis column offers brackets with top lights. Several columns can be combined with an LED light fitted into the service door in the lower part of the column – a unique feature that Alfred Priess A/S is the first to introduce. This detail creates a more dynamic column, providing additional lighting for paths and cycle paths. CitySwan is delivered standard in Charcoal Grey. Entasis and Filigran are available in all six Priess colours. The optional LED and a choice of colours at the top of the brackets add further opportunities for enhancing the characteristics of individual streets.

The LED top can be combined with either the X bracket or the Basic brackets. This discreet LED unit is available in white, green, blue and amber. It is an exciting architectonic detail when used to differentiate and identify different areas of the city.
Active service door â&#x20AC;&#x201C; The light in the service door is a stroke of pure genius that creates a unique architectonic expression at the lower end of the column â&#x20AC;&#x201C; offering a more vital lighting experience for pedestrians. LED service doors are available in four different
designs. Service doors with lights can be ordered separately or pre-mounted in all Filigran columns (> 3.5 m) and all Entasis columns. Supplied as standard in galvanized steel in accordance with DS/EN ISO 1461. For a surcharge, columns may be painted in one of the six Priess colours (see page 20).

For an enhanced sculptural expression, install an LED uplight in the top of the Filigran column base pipe. The beauty of the uplight highlights the almost transparent aura of the column while providing the surroundings with additional light from the characteristic LED unit. The LED uplight is available in the colour white. All Filigran columns are prepared for this detail.
