Specialised Transmission
Specialised Transmission As part of our engineering design service we offer specialist advise on the selection and application of specialist transmission equipment that includes screw jacks, linear guides, open gear sets, ball screws, lead screws and nuts. On very short lead times we can supply gear sets machined to customer drawings and lead screws and linear slides cut to exact sizes. Our applications team will carry out all of the necessary load calculations and ensure that the correct parts are selected to do the job. We also provide technical support for the selection and use of specially coated timing belts and truly endless timing belts used in production machinery.

Specialised Transmission
Screw Jacks We offer on very short lead times a range of travelling nut and travelling screw type jacks used in heavy lifting applications. Our services include product selection and the supply of screw jacks with any other drive components that may be necessary to complete the application.
Ball Screws
Linear Guides
Ball screws are ideal for use in high precision environments requiring high thrust loads and minimal friction. A threaded shaft is used with a helical raceway and ball bearings to act as a precision screw.
Linear guides are designed to provide high precision and free movement in one dimension, typically X-Y movement, machine slides etc. We offer a range of guides that can be supplied on short lead times to exact sizes required.
We provide unique solutions to production line processes that save time and money. > Bespoke Conveyors > Modular Conveyor Systems > Power Transmission Equipment > Pneumatics > Materials Handling Solutions > Conveyor Components/Parts > Industrial Supplies
Lead Screws & Nuts
Splined Shafts
We offer a complete range of lead screws and nuts on an immediate delivery basis and on very short lead times cut to length. Our applications team will ensure that the correct parts are selected every time.
Splined shafts are used as an alternative to keyed shafts. They are ideal in applications requiring high torsional loads or applications requiring axial movement. We offer a range of splined shafts that can be cut to exact lengths if required.
