Our contracts division offers a fully integrated service from concept design and realisation, right through to electrical & mechanical installation and maintenance of conveyor systems. Our 24-hour breakdown service and comprehensive range of stock parts allows our expert team to provide full technical support. We specialise in powered roller, overhead, slat chain and baggage handling conveyors, commonly used in a wide variety of manufacturing industries, distribution, airports and ferry terminals. We also specialise in
the design, manufacture and installation of bespoke heavy duty powered roller and modular belt conveyors used to convey items weighing up to 20 tons.
Our skilled team of engineers will calculate the power and speed you require and recommend the most cost effective and energy efficient product available. As well as installing your new drive, we will provide specialist advice on the most durable and cost effective means of transmitting power. Breakdowns in any manufacturing process are costly and keeping them to a minimum is always important. Proper installation and careful maintenance is key to achieving

Bespoke Systems Heavy duty roller conveyors We specialise in the design, manufacture, installation and maintenance of heavy duty powered roller conveyors used in assembly line processes. We can design powered roller systems that will easily convey weights in excess of 20 tons per unit.

Airport and baggage handling We supply and install carousel conveyors used for baggage handling in airports and ferry terminals. Our service includes design of system layouts, installation and maintenance.
Heavy duty belt conveyors As an alternative to heavy duty powered roller systems we also design, manufacture and install heavy duty belt conveyors using modular conveyor belts. These conveyors can easily move unit loads in excess of 10 tons.
Overhead conveyors We provide a range of overhead conveyors that are ideal for conveying products through a paint line or in applications where floor space is restricted. Our service includes design of system layouts, installation and maintenance.

Modular Systems Modular roller conveyors Modular conveyors provide an excellent means of transporting flat-base cartons/packages. Inline Helical Geared Motors
Right Angle Worm Geared Motors
Right Angle Bevel Helical Geared Motors
Series M inline geared motors provide a very efficient and compact drive solution. The range includes 12 sizes of unit with power capacities up to 90KW. Major design features include the ability to fit standard motors.
Series C right-angle helical worm geared motors provide an efficient and compact solution to meet most drive requirements. They are available in powers up to 45KW. Series C is available with all of the usual required options, including torque arms, output shafts, output flanges etc.
Series K right-angle drive helical bevel geared motors provide a very efficient right-angle output drive solution. Units are available with torque arms, output shafts or output flanges.
All units are dimensionally interchangeable with other major manufacturers.
Major advantages include the use of standard motors and interchangeability with other leading manufacturers.

Heavy Duty Bevel Helical Geared Motors
Inline Shaft Mounted Geared Motors
Mid Range - Worm Gearboxes
The Series F geared motor is a shaftmounted inline helical geared motor. Units are available with torque arms, bolt-on feet, output flanges or output shafts.
Series A Mid-Range is a series of worm gearboxes available in ratios 5:1 through to 70:1. Series A Mid-Range gearboxes are available with a range of options including torque arms, output shafts, output flanges etc.
Series G geared units are available in parallel shaft helical and right-angle shaft bevel/helical units in double, triple and quadruple gear stages. Output torque can be up to 130,000Nm.
Series M, C, K & F motors are assembled using the Swift concept of modular kits and can be built and ready for despatch in under 45 minutes.

Electric Motors
Motorised Drums
From stock we provide electric motors from 0.18KW to 22KW in 4-pole. All motors are IP55. We also stock brake motors up to 4KW. All our motors are flange mounted in either B14 or B5 for gearbox mounting as required.
Motorised Drums are an extremely compact and efficient drive solution as the motor gearbox is located inside the end drum.
Worm Gearboxes
Hydro-Mec Worm Gearboxes are a compact and economical drive solution and are fully interchangeable with most European manufacturers. We stock sizes 030-110 in ratios 7:1 to 100:1. Hydro-Mec gearboxes are ideal for use in the food industry because of their aluminium gear cases and optional stainless steel through-bore.
Motorised Drums are available in diameters from 50mm-500mm. Motorised Drums are used in a wide variety of applications including, live-storage systems, food conveyors, and general conveying.

From stock we supply a range of Var-Spe hydrostatic variable speed units. These units allow full speed range 0-1400RPM in both directions and constant torque.
From stock we can provide many types of mechanical variable speed solutions. Mechanical variable speed units normally provide a 5/1 variation in speed.
From stock we can provide a range of electronic variable speed controllers. As well as giving variable speed these units can be used to provide soft starts and can significantly reduce energy consumption when selected as part of an energy saving solution.
