DEAR POP!

-

No, we don't want to ask for money this time! But gee, Dad, we do hope you enjoy your visit here with us today . We've turned the campus over to you this week-end and we hope that the several featured events we've planned for your entertainment wi ll be the sort of pleasant experiences that wi ll make you want to com e and see us more often. You know you're always welcome. On th e gridiron today we meet one of our greatest rivals- the University of Id aho Vandals. All the " dope " you may have read in the papers " goes by the boards" when Cougar meets Vandal. The intense school spirit betwee n these neighboring in stitutions is traditional, yet a clean , hard battle, full of color, thrills and excitement is always a result of the meeting. Every one of your " kids" counts it a n honor and a privilege to have you with us. The best fellow on earth is always welcome, and you , Dad , have always been that one fellow. Come again , Dad, and come often. CARL BREWSTER, President, Associated Students.
